^***Yeah I’ve never been, I’m looking at prices now and I’d be able to book everything if I knew my twat of a brother is joining me. If he hasn’t told me by tomorrow then see ya bro, you can get your own hotel room ’cause I’ve booked a single.
The way flights run though I’d be out early Thursday morning and back early Saturday. I’d prefer to get to stay until Sunday but there’s no direct flights back and I don’t fancy a 4 hour layover in Warsaw where I’d be back in Hamburg in the evening and another 4 hour train journey home.
One thing I hate about my Erasmus year is in my classes in Germany we’re treated like babies. I’m not allowed to miss more than 3 classes or else I don’t get the credits for the year and I kind of need my credits to pass the year. In Ireland, so long as you sit the exam you’ll get your credits, you’re not forced to come in to class if you don’t want to. It really restricts me actually doing the things you’re meant to do on Erasmus i.e. travel. I don’t actually care about the credits Germany, I just want to get my basic pass and continue onto dreaded final year.
Anyhoo I’ll have used up my 3 misses by the end of the month so let’s pray I don’t get sick! 😀

True, it’s awful. But Paris is really bad.
It’s incredibly annoying when I’m outside reading a book and some German students sit next to me all puffing away, some of us would rather not die of lung cancer, thanks x.
YES. I like to fake a coughing fit (a good deal of the time I don’t have to fake it) whenever someone smokes near me to remind them that they’re not the only ones affected.

^One of my friends acts like he’s asphyxiating any time we so much as become aware of an individual who smokes within 20 feet of us.

Offline School headphones. We had to use them today in history for a “fun and interactive!” activity (with a huge worksheet to go along with it). They’re always either too small or too big, and they’re not even shaped like a human head. Due to this fact, you have to clamp them onto your ears with your both of hands so that you can actually hear what’s coming through them instead of the rest of your class hearing it. Once, a pair of them that I had grabbed malfunctioned and the sound just came out of the computer normally even though they were plugged into it. I don’t know why the school won’t let us bring our own, because I’d be absolutely thrilled to if it meant avoiding the horror of the school headphones.

When teachers pitch an activity as being “fun and interactive.” It happened to me today in History. The “fun and interactive” activity turned out to be taking notes. I’m not sure if it was failed sarcasm or if my teacher’s usual hobbies are watching grass grow and watching paint dry, but I assure you the activity was not even remotely fun or interactive.

Oh, no!
I can partially relate– in two classes today I was tormented by classmates chewing their gum in loud and annoying manners, right in my ear. I thought I was going to scream or cry or hurt someone. I’m glad I survived.
Oh, and this annoying helicopter has been buzzing around my neighborhood nonstop for the past week– and my brother got a drone for his birthday, which makes a noise not unlike a large mutant insect.
