I have even more than that. Youth is wasted on the young, isn’t it Ahhh Girl?
I grew up around old people, really old, sick people. I kinda knew what was coming. But, you don’t really know until it happens to you.
When I’m feeling bad but show up to work anyway, people say “Go home. You have plenty of sick leave hours.” I tell them that I will hurt more 5-10 years from now so I’ll save up those SL hours. But, come to think of it, I’ve been saying that for 10 years now. Maybe I should go a little easier on these aging bones.
I know some folks start feeling lots worse pain when they are younger than me. I can’t see how they deal with it.

I didn’t expect people to lie when answering.
@Mademoiselle Kitty >^..^<, I was born in 1968. I’m feeling lots of pain right now. That’s how it all got twisted up in my mind. I hurt a lot more now than I did a decade ago. However, I realize pain is no respecter of age, so people younger than me can hurt more than me. That makes me sad.

@Ahhh Girl I’m sorry to hear you’re in pain. Unfortunately, I know the feeling. You’re right: when it comes to health, age discrimination is non-existent. Young people get sick too; too many people seem to be oblivious to that fact…
