Well, I’m glad my avatar meets your damn standards! (insert winking George that has a code I forget. What is that code?)
Anyways, I have a little confession here. I feel more at home on the BB this Morning then maybe ever, at least not in recent memory. M3, you have this sense of comfort when you post, a je-ne-said-quoi. Thanks.

I’m changing mine for the next two weeks in honor of George, this is one of my favorite pictures of him.
"Now and then, though, someone does begin to grow differently. Instead of down, his feet grow up toward the sky. But we do our best to discourage awkward things like that."
"What happens to them?" insisted Milo.
"Oddly enough, they often grow ten times the size of everyone else," said Alec thoughtfully, "and I’ve heard that they walk among the stars."

Time to resurrect yet another thread…
So, speaking of avatars, meanmistermustard‘s new-ish avatar is awesome. Rubber Soul before Rubber Soul – if that made any sense.
Should I change my avatar? I like the apple, but is it getting boring?
Also known as Egg-Rock, Egg-Roll, E-George, Eggy, Ravioli, Eggroll Eggrolli...

I enjoy the apple, I love green.
I changed my avatar the other day. Paul McCartney +kittens=awesome. I would also love to find a gif small enough to use.

I like the apple too. A couple of times I’ve been tempted to change my avatar, but I just love the joy on J&P’s faces too much.

Thanks meanmistermustard,
At first, I just searched images for “paper money” and was about to use some obscure money from some foreign country; then I searched “monopoly money” and almost went with that. But then it occurred to me to see if anyone had put Beatles faces on money, and I got lucky.

That Volkswagen Beetle was kinda clever! But yeah, the Beatles currency is nice too.
I’ve got a terrible memory for avatars, unless they’re particularly striking or somebody uses the same one for a long time. I’ve had the same one(s) for virtually the entire 3 years I’ve been posting here.
GEORGE: In fact, The Detroit Sound. JOHN: In fact, yes. GEORGE: In fact, yeah. Tamla-Motown artists are our favorites. The Miracles. JOHN: We like Marvin Gaye. GEORGE: The Impressions PAUL & GEORGE: Mary Wells. GEORGE: The Exciters. RINGO: Chuck Jackson. JOHN: To name but eighty.

Yep, Magritte’s bowler-and-apple guy with the Apple Records logo on top. (I think I’ve read that the logo itself was Magritte-inspired, so it’s full-circle.)

Luv it! Good to see you giving Paul and John equal prominence. Must get around to coming up with my own avatar at some stage, rather than the generic Nowhere Man ! Sitting here finishing up a tracklisting for something I’ve done for someone at the minute though. Oh well, Another Day !
