I’d noticed the avatars are flooded with many infamous reiterations of the white lines of the Abbey Road . So, I’ve decided to change it to support my favourite beatle, Ringo!
I wouldn’t say “flooded”. I’m really the only one who always has an Abbey Road parody. It’s my schtick. And yours was the best one I’ve seen yet. But we could always use more Ringo avatars, there’s way to many Paul ones, and a good amount of John and George too.
Yes, I wouldn’t say too many though

Chappelle’s Show aired in America on Comedy Central in 2003 and 2004. It’s your typical sketch comedy show only with serious envelope-pushing sketches, like a crackhead that wins on Fear Factor or a blind black man who’s racist towards black people because he doesn’t know he’s black himself. And that’s just what I can mention- many other sketches I really can’t bring up because they’re quite extreme. Chappelle picked on EVERYBODY, so no race or creed was spared for the sake of his art. The show is best known for the tagline “I’m Rick James, bitch!” that stems from one of the show’s writers, Charlie Murphy (Eddie’s brother) recollecting his time hanging out with Rick. The show only lasted those two seasons and 3 episodes of a third season because Chappelle quit due to a variety of rumored reasons (drugs/stress/fame/people wanting to hurt him). I loved the show and still do now (I have all 3 seasons on DVD), the wife likes certain sketches but some are pretty extreme for her.
Here’s a skit Chappelle did with John Mayer (if you’re sensitive to strong language or are uneasy with race jokes, DON’T WATCH):

Offline It is me. I just took a picture with the built-in webcam on my laptop, cropped it so it would be square, messed with the contrast a little bit, and desaturated it.
I think it’s pretty unnecessary to say this, but I tried to make it look like the default picture.

Offline 2 Wogblog articles, 1 with some info on that John photo session, the other connections between The Beatles and Superman.
The Lennon Superman t-shirt was taken in 1966 by Alan Aldridge for the cover of ‘The Penguin John Lennon ‘ book (comprising of ‘In His Own Write’ & ‘A Spaniard In The Works). One of the comments in the first link writes that the initial concept of the photo shoot was to dress John up as a Penguin!!!
A bit more searching brings up that Alan designed the covers of both volumes of The Beatles Illustrated Lyrics, a few more details and some example of his work (include those involving The Beatles) can be found here.
