Offline I have this feeling Paul has been stuck with this “boyish” stigma so people assume he can’t be handsome or “hot”, he can only be “cute” (like for example Davy Jones of the Monkees), and it seems a lot of women are not especially attracted to boyish cute. It seems to me though that Paul unlike most male celebrities managed to be both boyishly cute and mannishly handsome (sometimes at different times in different photographs, sometimes at the same moment).
It’s kind of the physical manifestation of the stupid characterization of Paul as only a sappy “love songs” musician.

Agreed! I (obviously) don’t see Paul in that way…only as “cute”. I think Paul is one of very few celebs who can pull off “cute”, “sexy”, “HOT!” – depending on what stage of his life and/or music.
And don’t get me started on people who view him as a “sappy love song musician”! ARGH!
