I just discovered this site and love the info contained herein… as well as reading the discussions… and I'm looking forward to joining in on them when time permits.
I am a child of the 60s… and remember hearing the Beatles for the first time when I was 9 — and was immediately hooked. While I think the true magic of the Beatles is the incredible chemistry of the four together, if I had to pick a favourite it would be John… no George… hmm… I guess it depends on what day you ask me.
Spoken as a true Beatle fan. My name is Mith and I'm from Mexico. Here's an apple to you and I hope you enjoy the forum!.
Say, was it hard to get your kids into the Beatles?
Here comes the sun….. Scoobie-doobie……
Something in the way she moves…..attracts me like a cauliflower…
Bop. Bop, cat bop. Go, Johnny, Go.

Nice to meet you Mith and thanks for the welcome (and to you too Zig)…. my kids, when they were teenagers, did what all good teenagers do.. they rebelled…. and turned their noses up at my “olllllld music” — in favour of the stars of the day (Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys , Spice Girls and their ilk)… but then they started listening to The Beatles for themselves… and found, to their surprise, that their friends also thought The Beatles were cool… now they’re as hooked as I am (or almost anyway).
It’s true isn’t it? Beatlemusic is timeless.. and touches all generations
I've got nothing to say, but it's okay..
GOOD MORNING!

You're very welcome. The same happened with my nephews and nieces, they started listening The Beatles by themselves, and one of them loves the music from that time.
Of course there are fantastic bands nowadays.

Hi,
just found this fabsite. Posted a question on the forum, with some typo's. Sorry about that. Got an answer within minutes, it seemed. Thanx. Anyway, I am in Holland, long time (1960's) Beatles fan, John is my all time rock 'n' roll hero, but I also have virtually all of Paul's, George's and Ringo's music. The last Beatle-thing I did was watching Ringo live, 10 days ago.
That's all for now. Thanks for reading.

I live amid the mountains of northwestern British Columbia (Canada) and have three adult children (who are also die-hard Beatles fans).
Any fellow Canadian is welcome! Here's an apple.

Ringo was good. It was a short set (1 hour), because it was on a festival, but he played quite some songs we all know and love. It don't come easy, Honey don't, I Wanna Be Your Man , Back off boogaloo, Yellow submarine, Photograph, Choose love, With A Little Help From My Friends , Give Peace A Chance , perhaps I forgot one or two.
And some solo spots for the All Stars, ofcourse.
Great to see him, he does not come to Europe that often. Many years ago (1992 if I am correct) I saw a Ringo show in Cologne, Germany.

Hello!
I'm Amelia, but Amy's fine too.
I'm from Wolverhampton, England -unfortunately- and I'm 17.
I'm from a family of people whose feelings towards the Beatles ranges from 'meh' to 'overrated' to 'awful' (the latter being my 15 year old brother – no taste), which is very frustrating for me. I want everyone to love them!
Aside from that, I'm very introverted and I play the guitar. My favourite Beatles song is a three-way tie between She Said She Said , While My Guitar Gently Weeps and Julia . Favourite album = Revolver 🙂

Hi! Welcome back. I'm sure he'll understand. *mumbles something about life and making plans.*
Ad hoc, ad loc, and quid pro quo! So little time! So much to know!
