Thanks, @Ahhh Girl ! I think the recent rounds have been very easy, but obviously people here are stumped!

@LeaveMyGroverAlone @Richard has the hardest rounds, because it becomes so obvious afterwards. Also I'd say @Shamrock Womlbs can be very difficult. One time, he posted Prince Harry and prince William karaoke to Elton John... = "Cry Baby Cry
(playing piano for the children of the king)"
And Richard posted a pic of someone looking over Seattle at night... = Sleepless in Seattle (I'm So Tired
)

just to introduce myself....sorry for the typing, I'm disabled
im an ancient brit and wanted to call myself Johnny ace after the Paul Simon song, but my computer insisted on Johnny cake.
I'm just out of shot in the photos of the fabs at Liverpool pier head in 1962, and, if you puts your ear to the pics, you can hear my grandma and great aunt shrieking look at their. hair
I don't come from anywhere near Liverpool but my. dad. was ex navy and there was a special exhibition on so we all piled into the car...me, aged 7, bruv aged 10, mum, dad, grandma, grandad. and great aunt.
dad and grandad had gone to the exhibition, bruv was watching 2 men coming to blows over politics, and I wandered away a little to where these 4 slim men were about to have their photos taken.
,mum called me back and I recognise Paul...ever the pr man ..who gave me a sweet...not supposed to take them from strange men, so gave it to mum.
there was still a Second World War mindset, so the mystery was the scruffy hair with the smart. clothes and. someone taking professional photos of them
I think its probably very hard for. younger people to understand how outrageous they were seen. as.
ive never. seen any of them since., but the atmosphere in the 60s was electric and, if. I was. too young for my parents to let me go to. the concerts, I was. also too young to be cynical

Hello @johnnycake !Cool story about meeting (or I guess seeing) the Beatles! Count yourself lucky! I thought your username was a reference to the book The Outsiders, I didn't release it was originally intended to be a reference Paul Simon. Anyways welcome to the forum! Hope to see around!

Wow, @johnnycake sounds like you had a wild time in the 60s! That's groovy.
Oakwood, I too read the Outsiders, watched Casino and listen to a lot of classic Stones! What else do we weirdly have in common??

thanks for the lovely replies
unfortunately, I was too young to have a wild time, but it was very exciting
you turned up every Friday at the local record place, where they put the new charts out for the week, and at all the record selling shops, they worked into the night before a new beatles release went on sale, putting the records into. bags with receipts and a penny change, so that they'd be set for the rush the next day...spent hours trudging around , but they'd all sold out...people camped out overnight
you spent months or years trying to convince your sceptical music teacher that they were good until they finally had to agree....my music teacher said he could never work out how they did the rhythm to. ob la di...so I don't know if he was very good.
and daft things....I happened to be in London when Sgt Pepper came out...with parents of course...so I made a point of buying it at n hmm, where Brian Epstein made their tape.
recently met someone who used to see them in Hamburg ....very jealous

@johnnycake Welcome to the forum! Always great to hear from the perspective of an original Beatles fan. I know the Paul Simon song you're talking about, from the very excellent album Hearts And Bones. Classy reference.
