Some friends of ours had a St Bernard, he was absolutely huge. They lived in fairly central London too, so every time they took him to the park he took up practically the whole pavement on the way there. Massive respect to you guys for looking after 6 other dogs as well as a St Bernard! Hope to see you around the forum too

Don't worry, you'll be an expert in no time. The main section of the site is really useful for finding stuff out, and I'd also recommend Hunter Davies' Authorised Biography, which gives a pretty good account of their time up until 1967, when it was published. From then on it has a retrospective assessment of what happened.

Thanks glad to have joined although I am nothing close to a Beatles expert. I watched a documentary onJohn Lennon typed in stuff about Yoko and ended up on a thread here. I’m surprised myself. Abby, our St. Bernard is a smaller gal, 120 lbs and 8 yrs old.
Don't need to be an expert to join and have an opinion.
Welcome.

I am also an independent Liberal Catholic bishop, and a student of metaphysics and the occult. I'm 48 years old and for the last two years I have basically been retired. I live in a house with my wife and three cats. I like Elvis, John and Yoko, Bob Dylan, and Johnny Cash, as well as a ton of alternative and indie rock music from the 80's through the 2010's.

Hey, I'm David. This is my first post here. I've been a Beatles fan since I was 16, over 20 years ago now, but my love and appreciation for them has grown over the years. I'm a musician myself and their work continues to inspire. I hold them and Bob Marley up as the highest in popular music. Other artists I enjoy are Neil Young, Simon & Garfunkel, Travis, Neil Finn/Crowded House, Beirut, Brandon Flowers, The Stone Roses, The La's... stuff from the 60s to the 90s mostly. I look forward to interacting with some fellow Beatles fans

I know math confuses me, but stretching it and saying that your mom was 19 in 1970 (the highest range in the teens and the latest that the Beatles were together, not when the Beatles first hit the US), would make her child 48 or 49. What am I missing?
