I’ve been feeling low in recent times and feel like life is getting away from me. I’m taking solace in the most basic pleasures: being alive and music. It’s hard but as John sang in God , “we’ll just have to carry on.” I’m sure things will work out in the end.
I can relate. But I’m not sure how much I’m enjoying basic pleasures. Some days I’m very optimistic. Other days I have waves of anxiety, sorrow or anger. But I’m trying to stay positive and make connections in the world.

@Expert Textpert I hope that you recover soon, I’ve been through something similar and I know sometimes it isn’t easy at all, but someday you’ll be ok, i promise.
All of you are excelent people, i love u guys, y’all have a friend in me if you want it.

I wanna tell you that my cat just had 5 beautiful kittens. I feel happy about that, can you suggest any name for them please? :3

Offline When you really liked a lad for a couple of months, but then you lost touch because of quarantine so then you stopped liking the lad, and then you got back in touch and you were like “No like lad this time” but then after a month you really like the lad again

Offline After over 8 months, all the days before pre-Covid19 restrictions, my Beatles watch is back!! It’s been sitting in a Switzerland repair shop getting repaired, serviced and has now been given life, all shiny, sparkly and new!! Needed a completed overhaul so it’s basically a new watch.

Offline Update on my life:
I’ve been going through a lot of depression and loneliness since the breakup a month and a half ago. I haven’t been on the forum too much because I’ve been doing my best to keep myself busy with various social affairs to avoid sitting alone for too long which causes me to just get sad. I’ve also been busy with work and school. I’ve been able to reconnect with some old friends, and I have been learning to play the Ukulele. 99% of the songs I’ve learned have been Beatles songs, either as a band or solo. Anyway this morning I decided to pop back on and say hi. I’ll try to make more frequent appearances in the future, as I do kinda miss browsing the forum.

Offline been having problems with a supervisor at work, and it got busy enough the last shift I worked that I had a meltdown
was told we’d be “having a discussion” soon, and I think that’s gonna be tomorrow
very well might end up being fired (wouldn’t be the first time I’ve gotten sacked over a meltdown) or quitting

My dad and I just got back from a walk about the neighborhood in the chilly late-autumn dusk. We were walking by one house and the resident of this house drove by us and pulled into the driveway, causing the cat who was sitting there to scatter. As we passed I saw the cat creeping cautiously round the other car in the driveway. When the woman in the car opened her door, the cat came running up and I saw it jump inside her car to greet her just before we walked out of view.
