Offline For the past few days, I’ve been studying and studying for a Unit exam (or as my teacher calls them: “Celebrations of Knowledge”) and last period I just took the test. I was so confident in my answers but halfway through the questions started to become more and more vague and there were questions on events that weren’t even covered in the Unit’s material! Hopefully, my guesswork was solid and I pulled through with at least a C+. 
I kind of regret taking this class but oh well.
Other than that, the romance gods seem to be giving me a little bit of hope with this new fella I’m interested in. Let’s pray that my bad luck from doesn’t carry over from my previous romantic flounderings.

uggggh my Public Speaking professor calls them ‘Knowledge Celebrations’ too She’s a good professor overall and I like her, but I can’t stand that term. Don’t give me that bullshit, gimme some truth, call a spade a spade. It’s a TEST.

Offline Lads, pray for me, sacrifice a lamb whatever you have to do. Business Analytics tomorrow, I found out my continuous assessment result today 33/40%- boo yeah but there’s a good chance my luck could well end there.

So I’ve been away the last few days – I’m not dead, though I feel like it. I had a school band tour, up to Canberra (didn’t see @trcanberra or @HongKongLady ) but the morning of the trip I started getting a gastro virus… any free time I’ve had the last few days has been spent sitting in a chair drinking water.
I’ve also lost a kilo per day the last few days… scary stuff.
Anyway I’m back now, sorry.

Offline Ah Christ Holey, that’s atrocious. I hope you’re feeling better now. On the upside a kilo a day means extra Christmas splurge? (I try to take the glass half-full approach).
As regards the exam, data visualisation despite having come up for the past 2.5 years did not come up. Two of my three above came up, analytic decision making and DESCRIPTIVE data not ‘prescriptive’ which I wrote and mildly gave myself a heart attack to when I checked the forum after the exam with ‘WAIT A SECOND DID I STUDY PRESCRIPTIVE DATA AND ACCIDENTALLY WRITE A PRESCRIPTIVE DATA ANSWER TO A DESCRIPTIVE DATA QUESTION?!?!?!?”- I did not.
The other one that came up was Introduction to Data Analytics which I did ok at but I only remembered afterwards that for dealing with my quants, I should have said that everyone should be on the same level, idea wise, and use Caesar’s Casinos’ old CEO as an example but drat, these things happen.
Anyhoo, 4 exams this week (sweet Mary…), Global economy tomorrow- where I’m hoping for nice globalisation and Brexit questions. Database on Wednesday where I’m hoping to remember everything, HRM on Thursday where I’m hoping to remember my MCQs and a nice massive essay and Marketing Cases on Friday where I’m hoping a previous case will come up.
It was really nice of the university to give me Tuesday off >.> especially as the exams were only running over 2 weeks, it was nice of them to leave all my exams to the end and bunch them up together 🙂 .
