Today’s my birthday, so I woke up to my mom playing Birthday off the White Album .  I’m planning on lounging, listening to some records, and watching A Hard Day’s Night (again).

I’ve been gone a few days, but Happy Birththreedaysago @ThatWeirdBeatlesGirl!

I did fulfill my earlier statement.  Friday I ordered the Abbey Road 50th Anniversary Box.  Originally amazon said it would be delivered on Thursday, but then it changed to Sunday on Saturday.  So Sunday came around and I waited for my package, and the post guy couldn’t find my house…again.  That meant Monday after class I headed to the post office to retrieve the box, but it was Columbus day, so the post office was closed.  Then today I went to the post office after class, and they told me they had sent the package out again…..Well good news the package arrived.  The box is a lot thinner than the others.  It definitely has the simplest packaging out of the three.  I uploaded it to my phone as soon as I got it, then I listened to the Remix on the way to and from my Book of Mormon Doctrine class(Side 1 to, and Side from).  I’m gonna listen to the other 2 discs tomorrow.  Then someday I’ll get me a bluray drive so I can access all the stuff on the bluray discs in all 3 of the box sets, and the Imagine box, which I plan to buy next.

I also bought my first ever records form the internet.  It was an impulse buy that occurred after receiving…uhhh not rejection number 5 because I’ve pushed dating aside to collect Beatles records and stuff…while window shopping on eBay.  It was 2 Paul McCartney 45’s, Off The Ground and Biker Like An Icon.  They are both white vinyl with purple capitol labels.  They are actually meant for jukeboxes.  I was on the fence about pulling the trigger, but then the one text came in while I was deciding, and, my finger clicked the order button.  I’m actually excited though.  They should be here in 1-2 weeks.

Just managed to get back online on the laptop after the 3 mobile network completely crashed last night at around half-eleven; down for roughly twelve hours. Nasty hasn’t been a very happy bunny, thinking I’d somehow killed all my data and wasn’t sure how what I was downloading had managed that. 3 didn’t even issue a statement saying the problem was with them until just before 8 this morning.

Just gotta hope they’ve got it stable and that they don’t do anything else that knocks the network out as they try to fix things, and that I can soon get into my account to check how much data I’ve got left after at least 1GB was wasted by the crash.

Have progressed to round 2 for a few of the businesses I’ve applied to, have had to do a load of apptitude tests to show I’m not a dunce or something.

One of them I had to make images out of random 2D shapes, I made a sumo wrestler for one of them- I hope they enjoy it.

One day later edit: Irony of misspelling ‘aptitude’, don’t write comments late at night, kids!

Why? Unless you are going on Blue Peter or working with kids in school/nursery?

There’s this girl on the bus I’ve seen a few times now and when she gets off I’m going to say hello. It’s my only option as she walks away and don’t see her anywhere else. Letting an opportunity go is worse than being rejected. At least you know then. a-hard-days-night-paul-7

Can I say it? Will I say?

Bollocks American companies making me do useless crap.

Sadly, it’s become standard to make you do aptitude tests, to see how fast I can speed read graphs which totally shows how good an employee I’d be!

This one was testing my “creativity”, it’s for a marketing job so not that shocking but I’d prefer to do these things at interview stage rather than at base stage.

What do you play?

Maybe the Beatles Bible Band will do another song and you can participate.
