Great news, well done. I don’t get to Drive My Car that much these days, because I have to take the bus. No parking where I work. I enjoy driving though, I got my licence on my birthday, as early as I could get it.

Offline Thinking I may have to seriously consider a trip to the hospital.
My calf got worse over the weekend and, while it’s felt a tiny bit better today, it’s still much worse than it was Friday. Friday I could at least hobble. Now I’m virtually dragging myself around the flat. Not sure this is going to sort itself.
I hate hospitals.

Offline The good news is that last night might have been the lowest ebb. Still difficult to move but a more definite improvement. Saturday through yesterday I only managed moving off the sofa once, today I’ve managed four times already, with a fifth coming up as a friend is coming over to do some shopping for me, and I will need to haul myself down the hall to the door.
We’re gonna talk hospital but it’s probably a case of another day or two to see if improvement continues. After all, apart from a scan to see what the damage, all a hospital will probably be able to do is give me crutches.

Speaking of things that annoy me, we’re doing an activity in History that’s basically our own version of the Nuremberg Trials. In my infinite luck (yes that is sarcastic) the teacher made me a defense attorney, so I have to try to convince a jury of extremely biased classmates not to convict the four Nazi defendants of war crimes and crimes against humanity– problem is, from what I can tell, all four are guilty of both of those things.
Trial is today, I’m trying very hard not to freak out and so far I am not doing very well.

Offline Definitely more movement today. Seven times off the sofa so far today, three of them getting to someone at the door, and there has been hobbling rather than pulling along the walls, trying to find things to hang off.
The most annoying thing this week has been that I meant to buy and put a birthday card in the post last Friday for a Forumpudlian of note that has a birthday on the 19th! Ahhh well, there’s always next year to send a card.
