Offline I tried and failed to find a post I made a year or so ago when I said that one of my friends from my cricket club’s mother had died and that I went to her funeral but I can’t find it…
Tomorrow, I’ll be going to another funeral, for a different friend from the cricket club’s dad.
Both struck by cancer.
Cancer sucks.

Offline I attended an exam which could give me direct access to a famous university.
Turned out today that I failed.
Now I have to bear another five months of tedious studying and attend the National College Entrance Examination.
Disappointed.

Offline Wow, so it’s 44C outside right now. Huge power outages across much of Melbourne. Many other suburbs have limited power available, deliberately. All in all, in excess of 130000 homes are without power because of this, in Melbourne alone. Add a huge number of other homes in the country.
I’m very lucky right now, no power outage yet.
But after a night that barely scraped below 30C, I’m not in the mood to go to work (read: stand outside for 3 hours umpiring a game of junior cricket) particularly.
I’ll keep you posted if the apocalypse happens and the rest of Melbourne loses power too.

Offline I am anxiously awaiting for a member of my group to finish filming their part and send it to me, and I need it by noon, and it’s 9:37, and they still haven’t responded to any of my texts, and I’m terrified that they’re not going to send it and we’re going to be the only group without a video. Plus I have homework for English and Chemistry. And if/when they do send the videos, I’m the one who has to edit them together– and I also wrote the script, filmed the video, and acted.
i’m losing my mind, i think.
