I’m the same way. Really good at history and english. I didn’t know about Classics existing until i went to college, and now its my major. Perfect combination of the two.
I’ll keep that in mind for when I get to college, thanks!
It also doesn’t help that I’m in honors classes for math and chem. When I signed up for them I didn’t know they would be this bad/hard. 
I would have taken honors english and honors history but they don’t offer them to sophomores

Yeah i never tried my hand at advanced maths. I good barely pass the standard level every year in high school. Ap english was required at my school, so history was the only thing i could actually take at a higher level than my peers. I’m also much better at music than school, which i why i chose to study music as well in college.

Offline Taking honors classes is kind of a social expectation at my school. Which is kind of horrible, but that’s just the way it is. Also UCs basically don’t even consider you if you don’t have a GPA that’s 4.0 or over. And where I live, everyone is OBSESSED with college.

Funny, because I go to school with a ton of people that got denied from UC’s and other first choices and most everybody is pretty pleased. Good schools are everywhere, and the ones that your classmates rave about aren’t necessarily the end all be all. With that being said, keep your head down and keep working hard! I know it can be a stressful time.

Funny, because I go to school with a ton of people that got denied from UC’s and other first choices and most everybody is pretty pleased. Aww I remember going through the same thing. But from what I can see from your posts you sound like a delightful person and any school would be stupid not to take you. There’s nowhere you can be that isn’t where you’re meant to be, so don’t Carry That Weight . Don’t you know it’s gonna be alright?

Singing, actually, (im a soprano) but if I was applying for guitar i would use Janine, Duosonics have great tone and just sound… amazing. Patti Smith had one. No offense towards Emily, of course, she’s beautiful in a different way.

Offline I’m probably going to Hobby Lobby tomorrow to have them cut a custom mat for my John Lennon photographic print. That way I can cover up the little spot I rubbed on it trying to smooth out the crease. I am such a perfectionist and I always make things worse when I try to fix them.

Offline I’m 50 years old. I last took Algebra when I was about 16-17. I still have nightmares about Algebra. Stupid to make everyone endure that torture.
