What does it mean to revise an exam? I keep reading about you all doing this, but I have no clue what you mean.

Oh, that’s all? Just studying for the exam?

What do you call it if a teacher gives back an essay or research paper any you have to changed some of it? That is what we call “revising.”

In my life…preparing for my Honor Society’s convention, promoting the Honor Society and my library via social media, writing and getting my annual report approved for the library association…fun stuff.

We would be handing in a draft if the teacher is telling us to change something (otherwise they wouldn’t give it back), so I call that editing.

Revise is another term for what we call studying.

If we get a paper back to amend we call it a damn cheek, a waste of time or good fortune depending on how much importance and worth we have placed on it.

Thanks, all for the wishes! john-lennon-salute_gif

Today I sat two French exams (one listening exam and one reading) and a biology exam. I’ve Got A Feeling I almost nailed it on the two French ones, as I revised them the most in the days leading up to them. The science one was a little trickier but our teacher advised us before the exam to try and give some kind of an answer to all of the questions. Unfortunately, I ran out of time to finish it, but will be taking that advice like a mantra for my upcoming exams! ahdn_george_05

Good luck @SgtPeppersBulldog 🙂

Busy, busy here with work. One of my products went viral on a facebook group so I’ve just been working my way through those orders whilst keeping up with my ordinary orders. I’ve been listening to some of Paul’s solo work today so that’s made the afternoon whizz by. I’m just finishing up for today now and will go and do bedtimes whilst my husband goes off to work as he’s on nights this week. Probably going to get an early night and watch something on Netflix in bed 🙂

I look back on my university days really fondly to the point I’m nostalgic/sad. I loved the lifestyle, and it’s when I discovered The Beatles. But…life goes on. I have a good job now.

The first time I went to college I hated the course and ended up going to Liverpool with my brother for a week around March time. I blew one-third of my student loan whilst there having phoned up to get it reinstated as they had cancelled it due to lack of attendance. Went back to one class upon my return, was bored senseless after 20 minutes, walked out at lunchtime and never returned.

The greatest moment of that period was discovering 4 reel-to-reel Beatles tapes (their first four albums) in a record store being sold for £15 each. Don’t think I ever bought one student book and spent more time in cafes and walking around towns to pass the time than being in class.

I spent my uni years in Liverpool heart Loved it, fantastic place to be a student. I lived in the Canning area, not too far from Gambier Terrace. We used to go in the Jacaranda a lot as it was really cheap! There were murals in the ladies toilets with horoscopes on.

I live quite far away from there now, but I’d love to go back for a visit. See all the places I used to go and maybe some Beatles places too. It would all be different now though! I’d need to have a time machine a-hard-days-night-george-4

Lucky, @Hippymama!

Speaking of uni: I’m still trying to figure out what exactly I want to do and where I should go. I’m very much interested in leaving the country, but then again I don’t have a clue how to. a-hard-days-night-paul-3

Depends on where you live but boat, train, plane, car, walk, run, jump, hop, skip, swim are only a handful of options. A passport and ticket may also be required depending.

You could start a tribute band mccartney-shrug_01_gif

I've been up on the mountain, and I've seen his wondrous grace,
I've sat there on the barstool and I've looked him in the face.
He seemed a little haggard, but it did not slow him down,
he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.

Nah, I don’t mean pretending to be Jimmy Page (though heaven knows I’ve done my share of that), I mean having a similar career path as Jimmy Page: namely, being a top-tier axe-swinging guitar god and inventive record producer.

I’m currently working, right now.  I have an online job and I don’t make too much money, so I go to soup kitchens for my meals and eat big there.  I’m not homeless but I still don’t feel as if I’m taking advantage of those kinds of resources because I make as much money as some of these homeless people, lol.
