Offline Just chaired my last Faculty Senate meeting. Yay! 
The last duty I have as chair is to carry the Senate mace and sit on the platform during graduation.
On a more sour note, there was a freak accident at the Ohhh Ahhh house last night. I had to order a new laptop…not an expense we were figuring into our budget and plans.

Offline She’ll be fine. As long as she didn’t dislike that fact, you’ll be fine too. If she’s a half good parent, she’ll do some research (probably a google search of “what does aromantic mean”) then she’ll slowly* realise you’re still the same person. 
*or perhaps quickly…
Thankfully, when I told my parents I was gay last month, they knew what that term meant

Thanks Holey! Indeed we shall *waves rainbow flag* (I thought you said might be asexual at one point. I guess you found otherwise? Nothing wrong with that, I’m just wondering if my memory serves me correctly.)
She didn’t have a specific problem per se, she just didn’t seem to believe that I meant what I was saying, thinking that I’m too young to know anything about it (which I have to admit makes her sound really old, ’cause I’m actually older than most people when they start crushing, dating, etc.) and I’ll end up falling in love with some guy when I’m ancient, like twenty-five, and get married and have kids like everybody else does*. But I’ll work on her. 
*not really. Also not saying that I never will, I’m just saying that it’s extremely unlikely.

Offline Off to Brisbane on Monday to visit family after far too long (HKL has already met my mother and brother – sister to go).

Offline Currently Im doing my finals for my second semester classes for Sound & Music Recording. This semester we have courses of Sound Design, Recording Techniques, Electronics and Aesthetics of Music. I’ve finished the theory exams for the first 3 classes, and I also have practical exams for the first three classes to do.
Overall, I am getting nervous for the practical exam for Rec Tech, as I have to choose 2 correct microphones for a drum kit, set them up, and properly connect them to protools and record someone all within 20 minutes. Otherwise, I am confident in my other classes ( I have the highest mark in my Aesthetics class so no way I’m failing that), then I’m heading home for a week to visit family 🙂
To add on to that I have a job at my residence that is adding some stress for certain deadlines during exam time. I’m probably forgetting other things that have happened recently but apart from that I’m just living my life as best as I can
