Don’t I know it! That crazy 4/4-7/8 tempo is awesome! It doesn’t quite resolve the way your brain expects it to so you just want to keep playing it over and over over and over and over and

Offline I’m still alive all. Storm isn’t meant to hit until 6am, and the country has been put nationwide at red alert. All universities and schools have been closed.
Thanks to my family’s concern, I have been evacuated (i.e. told to come back) to my inland home county instead of being out on the coast. The likelihood of me dying has decreased significantly. However, I have been instructed to go on property inspection on Tuesday to make sure the family’s coastal gaf hasn’t been damaged during this hurricane.
The weather announcements have been hyping us up with statements like “This is not the remnants of a hurricane, this IS a hurricane”. I wouldn’t mind having Tuesday off college either

Offline I’ve seen that school has been cancelled for Monday in the Republic, @AppleScruffJunior, has the same happened for college?
Hoping you have no reason to go out while the storm passes over.
Are the early effects starting to be felt yet?

Offline Nothing yet, it’s calm out. No wind or rain. My part of the country should be expecting it to hit full force around 11am or 12pm. Luckily, the home here has a generator so I won’t be without electricity if the power goes out.
I will keep you all updated tomorrow as the country gets battered.
Good luck to @meanmistermustard as well, although Scotland won’t be as assaulted as us .

Offline Hope everyone’s okay. It’s pretty windy here, and the sky has been really really dark all day, with us being able to look directly at the sun. In other news, me and my friend had a jam with him on guitar and me on drums and I quite envy proper drummers now, it’s really good fun. We did ‘All Along The Watchtower’.

Things don’t sound very good on your side at the moment.
The sky was a weird beige/yellow/orange kind of colour on my way home from school, something very unusual here in old Blighty. Apparently that was because the storm picked up tropical dust from the Sahara and smoke from the forest fires in Portugal and Spain…
