Emotionally, it was a roller coaster ride of a day.On the upside, I was informed that the lump I recently discovered was benign and could be easily removed. After leaving the Doctor’s office, I sat in my car in the paking lot and sobbed with relief.
On the downside, I was informed that many of my colleagues – including my manager – are being “impacted”. Wisdom teeth get impacted. Once, my horse’s ass got impacted. People get fired.
What a wonderfully shitty day.
I’m really sorry about the issue with your colleagues; at our local music school there has been a new boss for two years now and he randomly fires everyone who doesn’t say hello to him or disagrees at a conference. At some point, he even fired his predecessor who was still working as a normal teacher because he was more popular than him. Unfortunately, these people are everywhere and there is so little you can do but maybe your colleagues will find a new job with a nicer boss and then they will be even happy in the end, who knows? And the news about your lump is great!!!
Finally, I can join you in the club of students with spring break (two weeks)
And I have already so many plans: Start to learn to play the guitar, read the Anthology book and broaden my musical horizon with a lot of discs I’ve got from the library. Let’s see how much I can achieve…

Offline So Saturday I submitted my mission paperwork, so all thats left is to just go through the interviews with the bishop and stake president and then after a few days I’ll find out where I’ll be assigned to go.

Offline I went to a ‘party’ the other night with my best friend, which consisted of a group of us getting drunk in a field, attempting to light a very poorly built bonfire with spray and vodka, and then giving up when it wouldn’t light. It was a fun night.
As we live a life of ease, every one of us has all we need....

Offline My uncle entered the hospital last week. I’m not sure how much I’m allowed to say and where the line where I’m violating privacy is. Let’s just say that he’s undergone multiple surgeries and it’s serious enough for me to be worried.
