In “general’ there is a section called ‘storage and iCloud usage.’ Under storage, hit ‘manage storage’ and then hit music and you can see the GB. The reason I prefer that is because of the Phish and Dead I have that feature long jams. Pink Floyd too.

Thanks! I didn’t know you could do that!  I feel like the only things that would mostly skew my original list is Two Virgins , Life With The Lions , Wedding Album , and Electronic Sound just because those have my longest songs.

I’m currently splitting Fly On the Wall up into separate tracks because I can and I have nothing better to do.  I probably won’t finish it tonight though because I should get in bed soon.

I say in speeches that a plausible mission of artists is to make people appreciate being alive at least a little bit. I am then asked if I know of any artists who pulled that off. I reply, 'The Beatles did'.

I know his Nephew, or Marie’s son.  He went to Middle school with me and was in my grade.

My wife and I have a cat (and two dogs, but this is about the cat) that she “rescued” from our porch — a drop-off (we think), feral cat that had taken up residence under a chair on our front porch.  Bless her soul, my wife started feeding the cat (now named “Izzy”), made a place for her to sleep, gained her trust, and eventually coaxed her indoors over the course of a couple of months last year.  Got her to the vet, had her checked over and “fixed.”  And now she’s ours, I guess. (After our last cat died at age 19, we decided to never, ever have a cat again…that vow lasted almost 8 years.)

Izzy is definitely an indoor/outdoor cat.  When she wants “out,” she gets her way, no choice but submit to her will.  She has her own large space to live in our house — my basement “man cave/music room/library.”  The dogs reside on the main floor with us, as after 18 months or so of equal-but-separate living arrangements, the dogs and cat still don’t quite all get along that great.

Most of the time, taking care of the litter box is my wife’s job, but every once in a while I have the pleasure to myself.  Every time I do it, I’m amazed at how many “pee” clumps there are for a cat that spends an awful lot of time outdoors.  I remarked on that to my wife last weekend — “What’s the deal with Izzy?  Does she come indoors every time she has to pee??”

My wife told me that she let Izzy in yesterday afternoon — she’d been out for at least 5 hours, yet as soon as she got into the house she beelined it to the litter box and peed.  I thought I was being a smartass with my comment, but it appears that I may have hit that particular nail right on the head!

Yes? He’s been part of my life since I was little. I’ve met him many times over the years and he’s a genuinely good man. He still has a great voice, too.

And it’s Donny. No ‘ie’. 😉 😀

Well, my first day of learning-at-a-large-building-with-many-other-people-around was not-so-great, but my second day was just hunky-dory; peachy-keen! a-hard-days-night-george-9heart

I got a callback for a job interview. I’m not entirely sure that I’m right for the job or that the job is right for me, but I suppose that’s the purpose of doing an interview.

a-hard-days-night-ringo-8 If you work at the job for a year or so then you’ll have a good reference for the next job, and possibly more money.

In my life I am trying to pack and clean* my room at the same time. Not working very well. a-hard-days-night-paul-10

When I’m gone I probably won’t be posting much –if at all– so my awkward and badly written posts will be somewhat dissapated.

I’ll be leaving tomorrow morning, so I still have today left.

*So it’ll be clean when I come back.

Hope the job is the right one, Necko. Fingers crossed.

I hope you have a FAB time on this adventure, Evangeline. Don’t forget about us. We will be waiting for you to return. Hope you have lots of good stuff to report.

I booked tickets for RN and moi to tour Buckingham Palace. We won’t try to smoke a joint in the restroom; then, again, we won’t be getting MBEs either. Sir Paul got Knighted there too. You have to keep the really important parts of the palace’s history in mind while you are there, ya know. a-hard-days-night-george-10

Truthfully, I was talking more about being concerned about possibly being unqualified.

But whatever. I’m my own harshest critic and rarely believe in myself.

Feeling a lot better this week – no more crazy fainting spells and able to have a shower without the shower cap on.

The stitches and staples are due to come out on Friday then just one more week to the wedding 🙂
