37 degrees C today after 23 two days ago.
The heat is bad enough – but such a big difference in a short time is hard to manage.

Offline Temps have been odd here as well, trc – yesterday was a mild day (67F / 17C) considering our time of year. Today, it is more seasonably cool (47F / 8C). For the past couple of weeks there has been much fluctuation in the temps. We are in an odd part of the country that is affected, on and off, by northern cold fronts battling southern warm fronts. Jeans and long sleeves one day, shorts and t-shirts the next.

Day 4 of clearing and cleaning and I think I’m about done with the old place.Settling in to the rented digs with my son now.
Hopefully the settlement of the sale of the other place will proceed next week.
trcanberra, whats the new place like? Happy and comfortable to be there? When is the invite given out for the house warming party?
It’s a fairly pleasant 3-bedroom “townhouse” thanks; 1 room each for my son and I plus a study.
Happy enough with the place and that it’s the end of my saga with my Ex; though sad that the split leaves me renting again.
Visitors welcome anytime; @HongKongLady has already taken up the invitation 🙂
Where I sleep? on the sofa? Is fine for me!

If it was me i’d leave it. You would get to sleep on the kitchen counter/table, any complaints and you’re on the doorstep. Grumble and no blanket and pillow. Why the kitchen table? Saves you having to move room when you make my breakfast in the morning – all heart I am. Just make sure you wipe down the table first.

I will wipe the tble,if you’re the table I will sleep in the door if you are the door mat, I will make a breakfast for you but you only eat the cup and plate

Offline I’m going to get electrosurgery on my foot*. Reading up on it and it doesn’t sound very pleasant, hopefully wont be resting it for too long afterwards.
