Getting ready for prom. Yey! So excited. (not)

I really need some sleep.

I hope you’ll have fun anyway! I wish I had a prom, besides the Christmas prom. Proms can be great. Do you have a nice dress and get all dolled up and all? That’s the fun part.

Currently I’m sweating my ass off, listening to music and writing some papers for school. It kind of dawned on me that I actually still have to do a shitload. Oh also, I found out my Philosophy resit is on the 10th of June, which is the day I’m returning from Pinkpop. So I’ll better start with that soon too, otherwise I’ll die a bit on the inside.

Practicing bass. I’ve gotten the hang of it already; it’s just that I need to get my fingers used to it since it’s really, really painful. The bass is also missing the bottom string, so we’re going to have to find a music shop soon. To practice, I’ve been playing the bassline of the Doctor Who theme by memory. I’m getting there!

Thanks very much for the support, everyone!

My dad just got back from hospital. He is still a bit weak but at least he is feeling much better… Right now he is on medication, just to keep his heart going right. In a couple of weeks he will have to go to a more advanced hospital, to find the cause of the problem. He had the same thing 10 years ago, but I was too small to remember, and this time it was much worse. It was a pretty scary experience to see your dad with all those tubes and the machines with those beeping sound, but I’m glad he is back home.

Once again, thank you!

Gelukkig maar, Eva! I hope they’ll find out what the cause is, and of course I hope it won’t happen again. Anyway, it’s good to hear he’s back at home and ”alright” right now.

Woah. You sure you’re going to be OK singing it? Just making sure.

I’ve been playing Rain on my guitar. It’s really interesting to hear acoustic versions of electric songs.

Oh, nothing. Just worrying about insignificant things which have little to no bearing whatsoever on my life, need no rush but I feel must be done right now or I won’t get to sleep due to the fact that my brain is buzzing with thoughts, none of which are happy, and the fact that I’m worrying about them is making me worry even more, thereby causing me to fall into yet another existential crisis because of the uncertainity of the future that I may not have if I carry on not being able to focus on my work whether it’s work I like or otherwise, the fact that I’m a sexist selfish pig who only wants a woman and is treating her like an object due to the naive hivemind of feminists who don’t understand anxiety, especially in my case in which nothing anyone says apart from the fact that I have a chance which isn’t the truth according to my old friends who I’ve lost simply for telling them how I truly feel and throwing their help back in their superior faces because they’ve gotten out of this depression thing before and therefore I can too but I jusr don’t want to help myself and would rather carry on praying for a delusional miracle that won’t happen regarding Elizabeth, who I haven’t seen properly for months due to the fact that I break down when she doesn’t acknowledge me, which society and the world’s hivemind tells me is wrong and so I’m just a mopey attention-seeking fedora-wearing life-ruining complainer who is victimising himself over a poor helpless girl who I’m annoying and harrassing and embarrassing who’s probably actually going out with that immature c*** because people have the nerve to shout these things out right next to me and say I’m to blame for listening in and/or overreacting to that fact because she loves him and that I think I’m a self-entitled “nice guy” who goes around wearing a fedora and giving girls niceness in return for love which obviously isn’t right because people have their own choices and their own attractions so I should just p*** off because she’s probably snogging him right now, and the fact I can change none of this regardless of whether I want to or not.

Are you with your family on this farm?

If children are studying the 20th century, I'm in their text books.

Is it great to live on one? I always wanted to live on one, or at least near one.

Its beautiful. The place is about 100 acres right next to the foothills of the Bridger mountains (a mountain range within the rockys) Its about 17 miles away from the nearest town.
We have a fair amount of sheep, then some chickens, horses, and honey bees, and a few milk cows, as well as a garden so we can grow a lot of our own food.

And then there are those two pigs.

Went to Abbey Road on the River today in Kentucky. I had a very fun time there, with lots of tribute bands and merchandise. heart
