Three bodies found in John Lennon’s former home

Three bodies have been found in a flat John Lennon once lived in, in Liverpool.Police were called to the ground floor flat on Falkner Street, near Toxteth, last night, where they found the bodies of a woman and two children.
A 30-year-old man was detained on suspicion of murder before being taken to hospital after falling ill. The arrested man is said to be in a stable condition in hospital.
Merseyside Police believe the incident was domestic in nature. It said it was not looking for anyone else, reports BBC News.
A police spokesman said tests were being carried out on a substance found at the scene. A post-mortem examination will also be carried out to establish the causes of death.
The flat was once owned by former Beatles manager, Brian Epstein. Lennon lived there with his first wife Cynthia shortly after they married in 1962.

I cried when I heard of it, this is definitely not what the world needs right now! Let’s hope that the governments of the states of the USA will establish protective rules for the environment anyway so that the overall impact will not be that big.

Offline I’m probably going to be voting for Labour on Thursday. The country will be bankrupt by Saturday and the thought of Diane Abbot as Home Secretary is scary due to how incredibly useless she is but I cannot vote for any party apart from them and the SNP and I don’t want more of the same (SNP).

Offline A major incident at London Bridge with armed police in attendance. Rumours and speculation are in abundance but there appears to have been a white van driven into a crowd of pedestrians on the bridge.

An incident on London Bridge. A white transit van mowing down several pedestrians (at least, 5 or 6).
Early reports. Area being shut down. Shouldn’t jump to conclusions.
Hoping for a drunk driver… which is a sad reflection on today’s world…

Offline That really sucks for those people, I wonder if he was intoxicated or just really pissed off. If he was intoxicated, he’s probably going to get 5-10 years in prison but if he did it intentionally, he’s probably never going to be released from prison or a mental institution, depending on whether or not they label him as insane.

Offline There are reports of a second incident at Borough Market, which is no real distance from London Bridge. Lots of journalists among the witnesses. There are multiple reports that there has been gunfire.

Offline Police at the London Bridge incident are reporting fatalities.
A third incident being reported at Vauxhall, again not that far away.
The first incident reported was London Bridge. Vehicle mounted pavement hitting several pedestrians. 1 to 3 people exited van and started stabbing people. Police confirm fatalities.
Second incident at Borough Market. Virtually spitting distance. More stabbings reported. Police confirm firing their weapons.
Third incident, Vauxhall, probably about a mile away give or take. Also being linked. Possible stabbing(s).

Offline This most definitely isn’t one person. Sounds like it could be three groups of 2-3 people. It could be that those involved in the Vauxhall and Borough Market incidents could have been dropped off by the van on its way to London Bridge, holding back until police were distracted by events on London Bridge.
The good thing is that this a low level attack, even though it appears to have involved many perpetrators. Had these scum been able to lay their hands on suicide vests and firearms, something truly dreadful could have happened tonight, not that what has happened isn’t bad enough.
That is making the assumption that these three incidents are connected.
Difficult not to think that at least two of them must be connected.

Offline The scariest realisation is that there is no way of stopping it happening. No matter what intelligence you have and how many people are protecting us you cannot stop people driving a van into a crowd and then going on a rampage.

“Good” news is you still have a much better chance of being killed in a normal traffic fatality than by terrorism.

Offline For me, new of someone driving a van onto the sidewalk to run people over, and then jumping out and stabbing people is the most sickening report I have heard.
There is something about that combination that is totally evil. Despite relatively low casualties, this incident is extremely aggressive, more so than most of the reports I hear.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the victims.
