She (and I'm assuming the poster is a she) said she liked both. And she can and has every right to. I had a 3 month period maybe when I was 11 or 12 or so where I liked New Kids On The Block; they were tied for being my favorite band along with U2. Of course, if she devolves every thread into one about Justin Bieber, we now have an icon we can use to gently remind her not to do that. (PS — Sorry to talk about you in the 3rd person, OP!)
But as she's saying she is a Beatles fan, too, let's welcome that part of her at least to the forum. I don't know. I've been there, done that, and while I didn't get the T-shirt, I had many posters. In my opinion, it's not worth the time to complain about a pop star, and we should try to make her feel as welcome as I know we possibly can.
