I appreciate damp, chilly grey weather. I’m serious. I love it. It’s so atmospheric and cosy, you can wrap it around you like a blanket whilst you huddle in the warmth and comfort of your house and/or warm clothes.
I also appreciate taking walks in said weather. And I saw a bunch of sweet little cats running around which made me think of the derail in this thread.

NC, occourse. Not sure where you got Tennessee — it’s a very nice state and I hear they don’t pay income taxes, only sales tax, but I live and die a Tar Heel, thank you very much! (although because my family is from Georgia I root for the Georgia Bulldogs in college football, but that’s another story)

I appreciate how talented The Beatles were at creating intros to their songs:
…
It’s not an easy thing to do.

It’s such a beautiful, understated melody. I love how it resolves at the end of the song.

No Reply has no intro, which in itself is a creative and unique way to start a song, and album for that matter

Are there any Beatles songs that don’t have brilliant intros?
You know exactly what I’m going to say
But since this is an appreciation thread, I think I’ll join @Ahhh Girl in appreciating What You’re Doing : the 12 string guitar riff is stunning and sounds very homely to me.

AG was appreciating What You’re Doing , @QuarryMan … but I’m glad to see you showing some love for What Goes On (even if you did mean What You’re Doing , I’m screenshotting this and holding it against you )

Damnit, I have really played myself here PSA: I did in fact mean What You’re Doing , not What Goes On .
Well, at least the guitar part of the latter is my favourite part about a song which I otherwise dislike. I’m still editing my post.
