My brother took a Beatles course at Indiana University last semester and a rock history class this semester. His professor is a well known Beatles historian who knows the man 
himself. He actually has shown his entire curriculum to Neil personally and engaged in meaningful Beatles conversation.
Of course, last time by brother was in town I told him to ask his teacher about Joe and The Beatles Bible. My brother just got back in town, and he came back with a full report. Apparently, his professor cites this site as a huge source in his class.
I just thought I’d put this here so we can appreciate Joe’s hard work and how far the reach of this website goes. Even an old school Beatles master has to defer to the bible every once in a while.

That’s quite funny. I’m glad this site has been noticed by academia. I keep spotting inaccuracies when I go through old features, which I’m fixing as I go, so I hope people aren’t paying too close attention!
I’ve actually been asked to give a couple of lectures and talks to students. Always declined. Public speaking is one of my least favourite things. I’ve done enough of it (weddings, funerals, work presentations) to know it’s not for me.
I wish my degree course had had a Beatles module. I ended up reading a lot of Victorian and postmodernist American fiction, and drinking. I might have skipped fewer lectures if we could have analyses song lyrics of cultural changes in the 1960s.

Offline I think Beatles Rock Band is fun. I always do singing and/or bass on expert, which frustrates my little sister because she can only play on easy. She has no sense of rhythm, so it’s kind of funny watching her angrily mash the guitar buttons at random.
