Well, it was a voting thing.

Maybe the Joe award?

If I seem to act unkind, it's only me, it's not my mind that is confusing things.

Is there an independant verifier to count the votes you 'receive' Sun King ? If you win every category then one may be needed.

By the way i'm open to bribes from others and willing to be bribed for votes. Im taking the lead and initiative from FIFA. Just send me a PM and we can arrange for the brown paper bags to be sent.

The following people thank meanmistermustard for this post:

No bribery allowed.

And do you actually believe I would steal an election from the people? Who do you think I am, Ahmadinejad?

Well you never know. There have been some very honourable people who with a sniff of power at their disposal have become power hungry, crooked individuals who would sell their own mothers for a nice bottle of Chianti. Maybe ive been reading too much news.

In truth i am being sarcastic about it all Sun King . I cant see you doing a Mugabe in any way.

Tho im going to have a job remembering past posts and threads for voting. When is the deadline for votes to be in by?

We need a name for these awards. Movies have The Oscars, music has The Grammy's.

I say we call them The Teddy’s.

I like it Zig. The only thing is… can I be Murray?

MMM: December 25. Easy to remember.

Good idea! Maybe I should change mine.

Did you really just drop Phyllis on me? I saw the pic and almost peed my pants laughing!

*I think you and I just swayed the votes for Most Likely to Derail a Thread*

I wanted Rhoda, but there wasn’t a great shot of her. What, would you prefer Robert Petrie, or maybe Alan Brady?
*My apologises for the derail – it’s my thread anyways, so whatever. But, I do hope people vote as soon as they can. And, I do hold tiebreaker vote in cases where I’m not in the tie, Zig’s vote (if he does the honour of voting) will hold sway if it’s between me and someone else. No one objects… okay, moving on to bill 101…

Ooh, a potential present for Ted! He’s a bit young at the moment (small parts etc), but I’m sure he’d grow into them…

a-hard-days-night-ringo-8Those are pretty cool, but very pricey. The J, P, and G bears are on sale just in time for the holidays – only $99.95 each.

R, with drum kit? A meager $139.95.

Why not save some money and get the whole set? It'll only set you back $299.95…on sale…plus shipping.

Small parts? Yep. Big price tags? You betcha.

You'd think for that kind of money, they could at least spell Ringo's last name correctly. a-hard-days-night-ringo-6

BTW, those are made here in Maine, hence the name of the company. I think they are located in Bangor, which is about 2 1/2 hours north of where I live. The web site seems pretty secretive about their address. Maybe that costs extra to find out where the factory is.

Sorry for the early morning cynisism. It just frosts me that people can charge so much for this type of thing and get away with it.

Now what were we talking about? Ah yes…

stay-on-topic

Good luck to everyone in this years awards ceremony!

Sun King , can you vote for some of the topics but not others? i've only been here 3 months so i'm not quite super-familiar with everyone yet.

"What happens to them?" insisted Milo.

"Oddly enough, they often grow ten times the size of everyone else," said Alec thoughtfully, "and I’ve heard that they walk among the stars."

What irritates me is the fact that people will pay that. I do believe that the company has a right to sell any (non offensive) product. But in cases like this, I think the company shouldn’t expect much sales.

Oh, and people, you are only allowed to vote once per category. And Seaglass, you can vote for some categories only. But only vote in one PM and for a category once.
