All of the songs listed so far are great. My favorite EJ song is...
When I was a kid I bought Elton John's single Philadelphia Freedom. It had a live performance of I Saw Her Standing There as the B-side featuring John as a guest artist.
I remember liking Elton John a lot more after that!
To the fountain of perpetual mirth, let it roll for all its worth. And all the children boogie.
AFAIK the only Elton John record I've ever bought is this:
It was released on DJM, which was Dick James' label (he was The Beatles' publisher). I think it was released in 1981 in the UK, but I bought it some years later at a record fair.
This whole post has made me feel very old - I can't remember the last time I bought a 7" single.

Yes, great track! Really shows Sir Elton's versatility.

Wow, not even John Lennon can stand out when Elton's wearing that outfit!

Elton's done some great Lennon covers to also include Come Together and One Day At A Time. He's also got a version of Get Back out there.
Bringing you the best and worst of The Beatles, since 2007.

If one man ever matched the White Album , it's this man. This man was, potentially, the best 70's artist. My favourite song would have to be Rocket Man.
Any other fans of EJ?

Amateur footage of some of John's appearance with Elton appeared last year and you can see it below, just skip to around 3:45 minutes. There is also a video with the sound synced properly with additional related footage used when required but thats been removed by EMI.

I am really surprised Elton John & Sir Paul have never sat down and made music together.
I do appreciate One day at a time and Whatever gets you through the night recorded with Lennon.
I have seen pictures of Elton with the other Beatles but it really surprises me with there were never collaborations with Elton.
I guess John was Elton's favorite Beatlle.

In 1997, following the hurricane in Montserrat, George Martin organised a concert at the Royal Albert Hall to raise money (one of his AIR studios being based there at the time). Paul, Elton and Sting (taking a verse each) with Eric Clapton and Mark Knopfler performed a version of Hey Jude , which was included on the highlights album, Music for Montserrat.
There are other instances of them performing together at charity/special events.

What an absolute bummer that the footage was pulled from the internet.

Goodbye Yellow Brick Road is one of my favorite Elton John songs particularly because it reminds me of my brother. It was his favorite Elton John song.

That's interesting, Sky, another Elton John song, Benny and the Jets, always reminds me of my brother because it seemed to be the only song he ever learned to play on the piano and he played it constantly.
