Offline Np, we’ll just gather our army of robots and nuclear weaponry. As well as the feverish and highly passionate Penguins fans, who are in no doubt a very pissy and enraged mood because of the NHL being canceled.
We, too, have guns here in PA and we can pull together all the big muscled hicks out of the farms of rural Southwestern PA to enforce our army. We can also take claim to the Ohio, Allegheny, and Monongahela rivers since they all meet in our fair city, and thus use them to our strength. Towering hills surround us, so meer land attacks from aggressors would be tricky. Headquarters will be the Cathedral of Learning, naturally.

Offline I have just ordered an Indian takeaway for delivery. I am told it is contactless – and because I am paying in cash, to put it in an envelope. I assume it’s going to be a bit like High Noon, we stand a few feet apart, eyeing each other, “Put down the money,” “Put down the food,” step away!!!

My icon of a brother is bringing us chips. I’m not allowed to go to my Granddad’s where I have bags upon bags of crisps stored for my inevitable salt cravings so I am bloody over the moon!

Offline On another note, I’ve been consuming cup after cup of tea while in quarantine. I need some way to get my caffeine intake since we don’t have a machine at home and I can’t get to Starbucks or Dunkin’ or my school’s cafe.
Yesterday I was scared I was going to run out, but my blessed mom got me more Earl Grey when she did a quick run to the store this morning. 
However, I did run out of lemon juice this morning, so for now I just have to drink it straight.

Offline I ordered a chippy tonight. Lady said it would take 90 minutes to be delivered, took 10. For a reason I will never understand they gave me extra chips and pickled onions than I ordered.

Offline I bought 440 Tetley tea bags the day before I went into lockdown mode. No chance I’m going short.
I also ordered 48 cans of Irn Bru for home delivery which came a few days later.

Quarantine life, so interesting
I’d rather have scalding hot tea than weirdly cold tea. I’ll make a cup and then get sucked into work or something and then forget about it and then I have to drink it cold because I’m too lazy to go reheat it.
Right now I’m trying to ration out my Earl Grey and I’m limiting myself to one cup a day. But all other teas are fair game, though green tea and black tea I find rather bland without lemon or A Taste Of Honey …..but I’m just drinking mint tea until I get more lemon juice (Earl Grey doesn’t need any help being delicious, tho. But as I said before, I’m rationing). I’m on my second cup of mint today…..
Now that I think about it, it’s kind of sad that I’ve run out of things to talk about and now I’m just rambling about my tea habits……

Offline My claim to stupidity is adding milk to some fruit tea type the first time I was ever given some as I had no idea you didn’t do that. The person I was with looked at me as if I was incredibly thick. Thankfully the very nice person who served us just laughed and gave me a fresh cup.
