seems to be a pretty mild case thankfully

aaaand I’ve caught it too
so far I’ve just had a sore throat and a bit of a cough, no big deal at all
just gonna hang out and burn through a bunch of stuff on Criterion Channel over the next few days

Offline Half of my department got wiped out with COVID at an after-work drink session, I was going home at the time so missed out on the free finger food and disease.
I’m the last in my friends’ group to not have had it but it’s really a ticking bomb now. I do all I can, wear my FFP2, sanitise my hands anytime I touch anything in public spaces and try and avoid sitting next to strangers when possible but apart from that I’m doing everything I normally do – going to the theatre, cinema etc. so 
. We can’t say I didn’t try.

Offline I’ve pretty much followed the same protocols as you ASJ and so far have remained virus-free. I have a huge family (going down to the first cousin level over 300) and nearly 50% have gotten covid (with sadly 2 deaths). We have discussed what were the pertinent lifestyle choices that made a difference, but nothing particularly sticks out (except for the few anti-vaxxers).
