The beginning of the end… hopefully……the first patient being vaccinated against Covid outside of a vaccine trial. The UK is rolling out the Pfizer vaccine from today.
Fantastic news. This was the first news story here tonight, it does feel like some places might yet be saved by a vaccine.

I researched your question and it seems the answer is still being investigated. From the FAQ on the MAYO clinic website:
Should I get the COVID-19 vaccine even if I’ve already had COVID-19?
Getting COVID-19 might offer some natural protection or immunity from reinfection with the virus that causes COVID-19. But it’s not clear how long this protection lasts. Because reinfection is possible and COVID-19 can cause severe medical complications, it might be recommended that people who have already had COVID-19 get a COVID-19 vaccine.
This seems to be the typical advise right now…

Offline The new advice in the UK from those in charge is; you can get together with a few people but, if you do, and we really hope you don’t, do nothing with them, keep as far away as possible from each other (it’s better if all visitors stay outside and talk thru the open windows – if you actually need to talk), touch nothing you didn’t bring yourself, leave as soon as you get there and burn everything you took with you as soon as you get home including the car.
For this gift they are giving us we will get a full UK lockdown for the first three months of 2021, a weekly telling off whilst getting told it’s all getting better, and the complete chaos that is Brexit.
