Offline I don’t like Polythene Pam , Mean Mr Mustard , or Carry That Weight , so I always skip them when I listen to Abbey Road and end up ruining the medley.
I want to like them, I do, but they’re such earworms!

I Want You (She’s So Heavy)
This one’s understandable, but I still like it… even if it is very, very long and I skip it at least half the time because of my impatience.
I used to be pretty meh about this one, but it’s grown on me and I quite like it now.
Ahhhh this pains my soul. The End paired with Her Majesty is literal perfection, best album closer there could ever be, 10/10, would recommend.
Abbey Road is amazing, just saying (besides those three songs I mentioned earlier)
And for once I’m on topic too!

Offline Yikes @The Hole Got Fixed I don’t even know how to describe how good of songs Something , I Want You, and Sun King are. The Beatles are on uktimate display for the entirety of Abbey Road , and thise three are some of the most extravagant.
Sun King is perhaps their most psychedelic song stuck sneakily between to great rockers. Try learning it on guitar, its one of the easiest songs once you work out the feel. I’m sure you’ll gain a new appreciation for it.
I Want You is an absolute jammer. Incredible song the interplay between bass and keys, with a righteous vocal performance from John, an all time great guitar solo, and Ringo sending out perfection through every fill.
Something is an undeniably good song I can’t believe you would say such a thing.

Offline Sun King is one of those songs that on face value, should really tickle my fancy, but the sum of the parts doesn’t equal the final product for me. I’ll try to learn it on guitar, in the hope I start to like it (I want to like it, but I don’t).
I Want You is a weird one. I don’t know why it gets so much acclaim. Sure, it’s musically interesting – that bass, man! – but that doesn’t mean it’s a good song. it just means it’s a long, repetitive song. It disappears up its own backside after a minute. And wtf is a wind machine doing? That ruins the song for me.I know why it’s there, but doesn’t mean I have to like it. Ringo is doing what he did on Blue Jay Way – trying to take a song which everyone would skip, and make it a little interesting. That’s why I like him so much. But it doesn’t save it. I’ve been listening through to these songs while writing this post @sir walter raleigh but I have to skip the last 2 minutes because I’m bored.
Something is boring. The I Don’t Know section is ok. The bassline is cool. I don’t hate it, I just dislike it though am incredibly rarely in the mood to listen to it.
That said, I’d pick all of these above any EDM track.
