Offline Oh god, I'm not sure how I feel about John's song right now. I love John in it, but all I can hear in my head is Yoko and those kids singing “war is over…if you want it….” and it's been on repeat in my head for about six hours now. 
Has anyone mentioned Nat King Cole's The Christmas Song? That's one of my favorites.
I just read this part in this book called Musicophilia where they talk about Bing Crosby's White Christmas and how familiar everyone is with it. They did an experiment where they said that they were going to play the song but didn't, but everyone “listening” to the song said that they heard the song being played. What ended up happening is that it just started to play in everyone's head and they all could have sworn that it was coming from the radio. I'm trying to do that now to get Yoko out of my head, but she's a tough one to get rid of.

I dunno… that chorus is to me the cheesy factor all Christmas songs must have. (It's the lyrics in some songs, etc)
