Oooo John vs. Paulie in Christmas songs. That's a hard one but I think I like John's better.
Speaking of celebrity death match that reminds me of that clay show back in the early 2000's where celebrities would wrestle to the death. Did any of the rest of you see that show? I remember one day I was watching a rerun of one and it was a special Beatles match. And George used his Hindu powers!
Edit: It was called Celebrity Deathmatch and I found the episode on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v…..6EcR1YBxDA this one has better quality than the first one that I saw but it has spanish subtitles (at least i think they're spanish possibly Portagul) It's quite funny but it does poke fun at them the whole time. And for the hosts, the one on the left is Johnny Gomez and the one on the right is Nick Diamond.

And when I wrote that of Deathmatch that show was in my mind. I didn't know there was a Beatle episode. It's in Spanish. Poor Ringo and George

Offline I'm solidly for Happy Christmas (War is Over).
It's funny, every year in the Pop Candy blog of USA Today, someone always brings up the Worst Ever Christmas Songs, and Paul's is always on there somewhere. I'm not a real fan of the song, but the bashing always gets dragged out once a year, like Christmas stockings. I don't think it's *that* bad.

I think I mentioned up thread that I love The Kinks' Father Christmas and I was playing it a couple years back and my roommate who had never heard the song snapped out of whatever she was doing and asked me “What the hell is THAT?!” Still, I love the song. It's not as terrible as it sounds.
