That track is so nice and sweet i can’t stand it, like tipping a bag of sugar down my throat. It was on the only Christmas album i had for years, in amongst Elton John’s drivel and The Jackson 5’s Rocky Robin (save us all!!), and it was always a run of tracks that were dreaded (this was a cassette so you played it through to get to the end of the album).
Unless there is a major surprise my list of great christmas song would run shorter than ‘With The Beatles ‘ – not including the Beatles Christmas messages, they’re not songs for one thing.

Delighted to see ‘We All Stand Together’ getting some credit. It’s a brilliant incorrectedly overlooked track with a great orchestral score by George Martin and some fabulous lyrics by Paul yet most folk slate it for the “bum, bum, bum” parts, generally not having heard it themselves.
Still won’t buy anything from Debenhams tho as they sell overpriced tat.
You’d think with all the songs about bums these days people would respect it!
And spread the Christmas/holiday cheer to @Joe by using the links @Ahhh Girl mentioned! He worked hard to give everyone this great wealth of information and deserves a present from us.
It’s simple and costs you nothing, if you’re buying something anyway it’ll just give Joe a portion for him directing you to Amazon. It’s a win-win-win!

Offline I heard ‘Step Into Christmas’ a few days ago in a store. If it wasnt that i had to get some stuff i would have walked out as its far too early and the song sucks. I’m nearer Christmas Island than the Christmas spirit.

Offline I put up the tree. My tree is about seven or eight inches tall. I just take it out of the closet and set it out. It doesn’t have any decorations. It had a price tag still on it for several years, but the price tag fell off. It also has a tear in the fake red velvety-looking material around its base. It was like that when I bought it.

Offline YAY CHRISTMAS.
I’ve bought a few things to decorate, but I haven’t had much time yet. This weekend we’ll put up the tree and start decorating the house, with my Spotify Christmas playlist playing in the background of course. I also need to find a few more songs to add to that list.
I wish I could visit one of those Christmas fairs in Germany or something. That would be wonderful.

I do almost the same thing except I have decorations. After Christmas I take off the ornaments, star, and stand. I leave the garland and lights on the tree, fold it up and put it the closet. Its only 4 ft, but I hate taking it apart. So much easier to fold it up and put it away. Its white with green garland, so it gives it spearmint look.
