Philosophy of the World, by the Shaggs. — Yeah, that’s a lie. I actually had a headache after that mess.

My favorite unpopular albums are still fairly well-known. I’d nominate Wish You Were Here by Badfinger, who coined the name before Pink Floyd’s album of the same name came out the year after. Not many people know about it because it got shelved pretty soon after release. Dennis is probably my favorite. Chris Thomas produced it, actually.

Please don't wake me, no don't shake me, leave me where I am, I'm only sleeping~.

Hahaha, The Shaggs! That album’s, uh, unique.

I knew “Talk Talk” but that other Music Machine track’s pretty great too.

My alltime favourite album is 1977’s “Hard Attack”, by the totally obscure art-rock/jazz/metal band MX-80 Sound. (Their debut EP from 1976 featured the track “Myonga Von Bontee”, for which I obviously have a lot of affection.)

One day, a tape-op got a tape on backwards, he went to play it, and it was all "Neeeradno-undowarrroom" and it was "Wow! Sounds Indian!"

Ah, so that’s where “Von Bontee” comes from! :)

Also known as Egg-Rock, Egg-Roll, E-George, Eggy, Ravioli, Eggroll Eggrolli...

Von Bontee, my what Big Hits they have.

This is wild and crazy rock. A variation on the B-52s?

Now we all know how to pronounce Von Bontee.
