Ahhh, OK. You know Klaus Voorman was asked to do the Fab cover, so it's not so much a parody as it is a…reflection?

Hi all. I am travelling for the holiday right after work today and won’t be near a computer until Tuesday 12/27. Therefore, I am giving my gifts a little early. I mainly virually exchange with the folks in here I correspond with the most over the past year, so here goes…
MeanMrs.Mustard – An invitation (a plea?) to post a lot more than you have been lately. Your wit is missed more than you know.
GniknuS – The Hammond organ from Abbey Road studios and the Leslie speaker John used in recording his Tibetan Monk voice on Tomorrow Never Knows . May they provide you with endless hours of funkified pleasure.
Von Bontee – What do I get for the man who has more music than God ? An act of God of course! May he, with one wave of his omnipotent hand remove all the skips, bumps and burps from your vast collection of vinyl records.
mr. Sun king coming together – The return of the Montreal Expos. Macca will sing “O Canada” on opening day of the inaugural season…a season at the end of which they defeat my beloved New York Yankees in Game 7 of the World Series…2 to 1…in extra innings.
And now for my fellow mods…
mith – I wish you peace and love for all in Mexico. New laws will be in place that will ensure all residents will be treated with the dignity and respect they deserve without fear of any government authority. Those laws will be enacted by your new President, Olivia Trinidad Arias Harrison.
skye –Your Beatles-less funk over the past summer gave me the chills. No one should ever have to endure that. So, my gift to you is an unending power source that plays an unending loop of Beatles songs from “In Spite Of All The Danger ” through “Real Love ” and back again…and again…, etc…
Joe, Ellie and Theo – Eight hours of blissful, uninterrupted, incredibly deep sleep…two nights in a row. I will post two of Pepperland ‘s finest guards outside your home to make sure no one wakes you, shakes you or spoils your day for miles away.
My annual gifts for all other members of this Fabulous Forum are the heart of , the caring of , the friendship of and the wisdom of. These are precious gifts. Use them well.
I hope to get to know more of you throughout the coming year and give out more gifts next Christmas.

Zig, if only that could happen. If only.
As for my Gifts:
MeanMrsMustard: See Zig. The Forum, as much as it may still be fantastic, it lacks something without you.
Von Bontee: Front row tickets (beside Jimmy Page) to Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals in Toronto, a Leafs victory over my Habs. Triple overtime.
Gniknus: Dinner with The Meters, and a trip to the studio to see them lay down a cover of The Word .
Kedame and Paulsbass: Dinner together with Paul, followed by a live show (and front row seats).
Mod time…
Zig: A Stanley Cup return for your lowly Islanders. Tickets to Game 1, and a signed puck by Taveres.
Mith: George’s guitar from the Our World All You Need Is Love broadcast. May it take you far.
Skye: A Return Pass to the forum.
And finally…
Joe: John’s famed White Piano, and a trip to New York to collect it, as well as an interview with Yoko. Also, a gift card to the Hard Rock Café there.

OK, OK, I get it.
OK, let's see. What shall I give to all of you guys? I'll think about it and post before Christmas.
If I seem to act unkind, it's only me, it's not my mind that is confusing things.

Wow, Zig, your post is amazing.
I will use my Beatle-comrade powers well, I hope.
Can I just say, you people here have improved my life. I love you guys.

"What happens to them?" insisted Milo.
"Oddly enough, they often grow ten times the size of everyone else," said Alec thoughtfully, "and I’ve heard that they walk among the stars."

Zig a baseball and Yankee fan?
Well then, a time capsule trip somewhere around the pitcher's mound at Shea Stadium on Aug 15 1965, 5th row center seats at Yankee stadium for Macca's concert last summer, and first base seats for Reggie's 3 homerun game against the Dodgers.
All the best to all!

I'm so emotional right now. So should I get it out? Well you can't answer me right now so I will… and sorry beforehand
I don't know all of you very much so I don't think it's a very good idea to separate “virtual gifts” and stuff, so yeah…
1. Thanks to all of you, every time I come here it's like I can talk about the things that I love and the best part is that everybody loves them! (by “them” I mean Beatles) Also it's cool to know that some people know and like my other obsession!
2. All of you with your interesting or funny posts makes me forget about the outside world. And I think all of you are very nice, and deserve an each, but I just put one because there are a lot more members. Anyways, I don't know you very much and you don't know me that much either but I hope that changes (Not in a creepy way) And it's so cool that we get to “know” people from all over the world!
3. Thanks specially to Joe for making this site, it's a very nice comunity, our own little, “Beatle City”
4. Ok I think you're tired from reading all this emotion that I get late at night. But I just want to wish you peace in these holidays, happiness and joy. And if you don't celebrate christmas, just celebrate! either with your family or friends or both and have a good time.
5. And I wish you a very happy beatle obsession for the rest of your life.
*You thinking: “is this ending already?” yes it is, I'm sorry..*
The end
This is la la la la love! – George Harrison
Please! Tell me what you think! and I hope you won't laugh haha.

Since I haven't been on much lately in the past year it seems, my gifts aren't going to be too special. But I give everyone the “gift” of wonderful holidays and at least an inch of snow if you don't have any right now. (Like where I live.) Oh and 's too.

I’m late to this (I took a big old screen break over the holidays), but thanks Zig and Mr Sun King . Unfortunately Ted’s still not letting us get much sleep, but hey, it’s all part of the process, right? Who needs sanity anyway?

Hey, this seems fun… too bad it’s not Christmas.
Maybe there’s some other special occasion that we can celebrate?
*checks “Days in the Life- The Beatles’ History”*
Nothing.
Fine, then. We’ll exchange gifts for no reason.
If anybody wants to, that is.
Whoever wants to, go first. Please.
I’ll try to find a special occasion to celebrate.

Okay:
It could be a belated celebration of George’s birthday.
It could be an early celebration of Patty Boyd’s birthday (March 17).
It could be an early celebration of Please Please Me ‘s release in the UK (March 22).
It could be a celebration of filming A Hard Day’s Night (many days in March).
It could be an early celebration of In His Own Write‘s publication (March 23).
It could be a celebration of filming Help ! (many days in March)
It could be a belated… I don’t know if “celebration” would be the right word… of John’s “more popular than Jesus” statement (March 4).
It could be an early celebration of the butcher photo session (March 25).
It could be an early celebration of the Sgt. Pepper cover shoot (March 30).
It could be an early celebration of Paul’s and Linda’s marriage (March 12).
It could be an early celebration of John’s and Yoko’s marriage (March 20).
That’s everything notable I could find.
I’m bored, okay? And I want an excuse to exchange virtual gifts.
EDIT: I forgot The Beatles Bible’s birthday! Isn’t that in March?
