Oh Shut up already. We don’t care. We truly don’t. Just shut up. I’ve tried subtlety, I’ve tried patients, I’ve tried nicely displaying my feelings. And yet you don’t care. So, I derail. If you want respect, act like you deserve it. Threads get derailed – one of mine had a whole page of all offtopic thoughts posted in 11 hours. But we live with it. We shut up and move on with our posts. Do that, especially the first part. And Jet , you’re making me hungry!

a-hard-days-night-ringo-8 I know I probably shouldn't be getting involved in whatever that just was, and I may regret mentioning anything, but she wasn't completely out of order to mention the derail. I mean, we even have a smiley for it! I just think that you didn't have to be that rude, we should respect each other around here.

I think it's great you're going through a phase,

and I'm awfully glad it'll all be over in a couple

of days

a-hard-days-night-ringo-8 You're right. The problem is that there's a bit more than we can see in here in this problem.

Having said this.

How convenient.
Paul’s last studio album, Memory Almost Full , has a couple:
Memory Almost Full = For My Soulmate LLM (Linda Louise McCartney).
Now, this second one is a little stranger:
The song is written as Mr Bellamy, but if you write it as Mister Bellamy, you get:
Mister Bellamy = Mills betrays me.

(I stand by my posts earlier in this thread. And that’s all I will say).

So I just found this game:

http://www.sporcle.com/games/m…..1/eel_stab

I got 25 out of 36, but I blame the fact that a) I am COMPLETELY useless at anagrams, and b) one of the albums is not a British release. (Just giving you a little clue there. a-hard-days-night-george-10) I also gave up at 12 minutes because I got frustrated aha.

Haha, thank you Mr. Sun – the best i could do for myself was “bet no oven”, “vote on Ben” and “no Betoven” which is ridiculous but I like it. And thanks everyone for the hearts and apples and requests to post more – i was away on vacation or poolside or otherwise uninspired during much of the last three weeks. Hopefully I'll get my chops back right about now.

OK, I'm late to this thread.

McLennonSon – I've mentioned this before. Please don't start threads when you have nothing to say. If you want to talk about anagrams, talk about anagrams. But don't just say “Here's a thread for you all to talk about anagrams” – we're capable of starting our own discussions, thanks.

Mr Sun King – calm down, eh? If someone's annoying you, walk away or use PMs to defuse it. It's only a web forum – no need to tell people to shut up.

I don't really have much on-topic to offer, but is anyone familiar with ambigrams? It's a design where the lettering works when turned upside down. Paul McCartney used one on an edition of Chaos & Creation: http://www.feelnumb.com/?p=3147

The following people thank Joe for this post:

Fine, Joe. I'll tone down the rhetoric, and (futile as it may be), try PM again. And, I created one for my name (well, I just used Sun King . Same diff.)

He bought a firearm cover: Gun Skin.

Yeah, ambigrams are cool! The '70s hair-band Angel adopted one for their logo, starting with their third album:

(which is when they began to really suck, their third album. Actually they kinda sucked all along, but even bands that suck can make a decent album or two IMHO.)

Paul: Yeah well… first of all, we’re bringing out a ‘Stamp Out Detroit’ campaign.

a-hard-days-night-ringo-8Well, if that picture means anything, there's a reason they suck. By the way, you'll appreciate this joke more then the rest. If you were to mix French people, English people, separatists and cigars, what would you get? Quebec.

I prefer tangrams than to anagrams.

I tried to do an anagram from PennyLane, but then I realized there are 3 n's. Fail.

Oh and Mith, liquor flavored ice pops sounds amazing. If someone is willing to make some, I am willing to buy… outside of the United States.

Not British, eh. Well I scored (you can say cheated) 36 of 36. I LOL'ED WHEN THE SECRET MESSAGE WAS 'PAUL IS DEAD'

a-hard-days-night-ringo-8Sorry about the delay, just saw the post. This article here, and this paragraph especially:

Others have tried to go after Amazon by targeting in-state affiliates of online retailers—individuals and businesses who collect a fee for directing customers to e-commerce companies with links to their websites. The trick, originally devised by hard-nosed former New York governor Eliot Spitzer, is the weapon of choice for a number of states, including California.
