Hey thanks for noticing, Paulrus! 
I've been kidnapped by my Macroeconomics textbook. I figured I could duck in here every now and again but only after I've read my chapters. 
And work's just picked up, and *my* free time at work (heh) has been cut down considerably. (Though it's spring break this week, so maybe I'll be on here a little more for now…)
Anyways. Macroecon…fascinating stuff, lemme tell ya!

Hm. Seeing a thread that's mostly a lot of give-and-take between two people may be irritating, but I'd just scroll through it rather than complain about it, because that's the way I roll. I'm more inclined to be annoyed by stuff like Sunii and Lexxi using the forum as their own personal messageboard, sharing their little inside jokes that nobody else here could possibly be interested in.
(Oh, and I STILL think that the Beatles smileys are mostly real eyesores and that people are using entirely too many of 'em, but that's been (only) my opinion for a long time, and I've said so before, so don't let it stop you now!)

The only thing with me is that when you say things like cool story, or good to know; it can be taken as sarcasm which is what I thought it was at first, then I thought it wasn't, then I was confused, and I'm still confused, actually!!
That's not really a problem though because it's probably just me.

It's a difficult issue, as any forum inevitably has a range of personalities. I wouldn't want to discourage anyone from joining in, and generally don't like forums that have loads of rules and regulations about what people can and cannot say. That's why I'm generally reluctant to ban people, close threads etc.
That said, like Von B I don't really care for the personal exchanges about what a couple of people did at school, or people they know, because it's not relevant to anyone but those involved.
Also, posts where people say “I agree”, “cool!” or similar don't really help much. Although it's a low-traffic forum, if everyone pointed out whenever they agreed or disagreed with something it would become a real nuisance. It's always better to add something new where possible, but don't feel pressured.

Offline Maybe after you type something sarcastic, you can put a really crazy top secret word, but you can't tell anybody or else it would take away from the attempt of humor and would probably be looked upon as daft for most people, but put it for yourself so you don't get as confused about your posts!!

Offline I don't think you should be worried about if you are posting too much, as opposed to are you spending too much time posting. You obviously know a lot about The Beatles. Spread the word of Peace, Love and The Beatles.
In regards to the actual post count… it's such a low traffic forum, you aren't malicious in any way. Probably not a big deal. However, I will share this quote that I have always liked regarding forum netiquette. “Post because you have something to say, not because you have to say something.” Not saying it applies to you personally at all, it's just a good quote.
I am speaking as someone who 5 years ago was a 15 year old who spent a lot of time on an online forum.
