I could never find Marilyn Manson scary having grown up watching him play Paul in ‘The Wonder Years’. Hard to take him seriously after watching him as a dweeb for so long. Oh, and his music was laughable.

@Sky999, Is it not true? That’s what i’ve read 40,000 times and been told by a trillion people including in quiz shows where its given as correct. I don’t know how i would react if its not true.a-hard-days-night-ringo-13a-hard-days-night-ringo-6a-hard-days-night-ringo-14

@meanmistermustard Paul in The Wonder Years was played by Josh Saviano despite the urban myth about it being Brian Warner (Manson’s real name).

Even if he did play some nerd in the Wonder Years, he still creeps me out. When I watch countdown lists (like Watchmojo) and he’s on there, I immediately skip forward. Just those music videos *shudders*

Lets reboot this, I shall do 4.5 because I have contributed a lot of facts already:

1. I have just purchased my first ever pair of lounge socks and they are divine. T’is like walking on a cloud.

2. I don’t eat a lot of fruit but I love vegetables, the only fruit/veg I refuse to eat are tomatoes and cucumbers- bloody disgusting the two of them.

3. I love British history particularly the Victorian, Elizabethan and Tudor eras.

3.5 I also enjoy reading about World War 2 with particular emphasis on the Blitz and Nazi Germany.

4. I am a rubbish artist- the only things I can draw properly are: myself and a cat sitting down.

And then you are 4.5 facts on me, now the rest of yez divulge.

4.5 more things about me? Okey doke…

1- My hair is slowly graying and I don’t mind.
2- I’m glad we did a lot of travelling when we were younger as now I couldn’t be bothered with the hassle.
3- I miss staying up all night – I have to get up at 5 in the morning to get ready for work.
4- I’m really good at not sweating the small stuff.
4.5 – I truly enjoy

1- I’m 53 and very mellow after years of stress.
2- 3 pints of lager is enough per week
3- Modern music is quite good and a lot of talent is out there
4- I still can’t eat cheese
4.5 – I can’t paint very well but love painting

1. I saved the contents of my mp3 player to my computer at work so I can play all my tunes (at a fairly low volume) in place of the radio which some co-workers employ. (Hey, you gotta do SOMETHING to fend off boredom, now that I have limited forumpuddling time)

2. So far, none of my co-workers have had anything to say about the practice, either positive or negative.

3. I’d be happier if I got SOME feedback, either positive or negative (“You actually listen to that stuff? Hahaha, what a character you are!”) Even if they just requested I turn it down, I’d be happy with the acknowledgement.

4. My co-workers are a bunch of lames with no musical taste!

4.5 I have never owned any Apple products; neither have I ever

  1. I think John was a wonderful musician and writer, and a bold activist, but I prefer the lone musician to the politically-committed artist.
  2. I think Ringo is a drummer with gusto (as in “artistic style”) and I like his drumming, but I still feel sorry for Peter Best.
  3. I love Paul’s music although at times I need a good shot of Lennon’s bitterness to counterbalance Paul’s cloying tunes.
  4. I frankly don’t know what to think about Yoko Ono. I should read many books to have an informed opinion.
  5. I like The Beatles as musicians but I’m not into their myth.

I’ll bite half the sandwich.

1.    I’m allergic to peppers and chillies.
2.    I hate mushrooms, tomatoes (raw) and spinach. They are revolting.
3.    Every time i’ve eaten soup that came out of a can i’ve spewed my guts out.
4.    Liver is the most revolting food i’ve ever been close to – it stinks.
4.5. I’ve just discovered sweet potatoes and

1. My second-favorite band is Bon Jovi.

2. My three greatest passions are science, music and books (not necessarily in that order).

3. I have a weird superiority/inferiority complex.

4. I have one friend and that’s just fine with me.

5. I have been playing guitar for almost 4 years but I only really started improving this year.

6. My native language is French but I’ve gone to school in English my whole life.

7. I like learning and I try to have a working knowledge of as many things as possible.

8. I received a Kramer Jersey Star for Christmas (paid in part by me) and I love it. I haven’t touched my Strat since I got it.

9. I have younger twin brothers.

I’ll go for approximately 1/4. That’s all the brain power I have left at the moment.

1. I wish I would always do what I know I should do. Life would be smoother if I would. I miss way too many opportunities. I am guilty of omissions more than commissions.
2. I don’t mind having my tech gadgets look out-of-date. If they still work (and in some ways work better the new technology), I don’t mind looking old-fashioned.

Exactly.  That’s the one I was wondering most about.  I figure that the others could be figured out pretty easily with a little math, but I don’t know how you would figure out number one because you would need to know the total number of PMs sent.
