1. I am a harsh judge on people and as a result I only have a few people I consider friends.
2. I have played drums since I was 4 yet still consider myself average.
3. I judge myself harshly especially when it comes to fitness and weight and as a result I only have 8% body fat.
4. I love sport, especially football (Aussie Rules), basketball and cricket, yet I have no talent when it comes to playing.
5. I love listening to podcasts and reading.
6. I am on community radio as a footy commentator
7. I enjoy a good argument, especially about politics.
8. I am currently learning Indonesian.
9. I love reality TV.

Another nine, why not:
- Penguins are awesome. Feathery little optimists.
- And cats, love cats. Furry little predators. This is my idea of balance.
- Not asexual, but celibate. Yes, there is a difference. But never say never!
- I have more musical instruments than the last time I did this. And I’m not stopping there.
- I’ve been to me but am not sure Paradise exists (that’s one for the older BBer’s to get).
- I’m happiest teaching myself, but I’m less afraid to ask for help these days. That took a while to learn.
- I believe in badly-done music, not bad music. It’s the thought that counts.
- I’m a Dudeist more than a Buddhist. That’s the simple version. Complicated one is a work in progress…
- The truth is I’m not Necko. No, I am. I was there first! Who are these people and what are you doing in my head?
- I’m still quite bad at maths but hate it a bit less since I learnt it was more flexible than I thought.
- Umm @Joe numbered list markup is rendering in the HTML editor but not in the completed lists, which seems very weird.

I’m a straight laced guy for the most part, but this is something I want to explore, especially given the connection The Beatles had. I’m thinking a holiday to Canada or California at some point. Got To Get You Into My Life .
I actually quit 2 weeks ago in preparation for a summer job that I got, which will drug test me in May. I obviously have no issue with the lifestyle, but I respect my employers wishes and am going clean. There are several newfound advantages to cutting it off cold turkey. Primarily, i’m much less content sitting around doing nothing, and force myself to be productive for the sake of my own sanity.
Downside is that I do miss the wonderful pairing of pot and music.

I’m doing an update. Because it’s been a while, right?
1) I’m asexual/aromantic and I spend a lot of time wondering what other people see in other people…
2) …but at the same time I can’t deny that I find certain people terribly exciting to look at — such as David Bowie.
3) I’m also gender-nonconforming, and occasionally people mistake me for a lad, which pleases me.
4) Anything less than 80% dark chocolate is too sweet for my tastes.
5) I live in North Carolina and I adore my state (though I prefer the western part of it)
6) I am a fan of the Georgia Bulldogs (college football [American] team), even though I don’t normally care the slightest about sports of any kind, because in my family that’s just what you do. 
7) I’ve been studying Robert Plant’s accent because it’s beautiful (and don’t even get me started on his hair)
8) I’ve been keeping a journal for about seven years now. It’s very useful when people ask when some event (such as a vacation or whatever) was.
#9 #9 #9) David Gilmour is my favourite guitarist of all time, but Jimmy Page is a very close second. (George Harrison is in a whole other class of favouriteness that is not limited to his being a guitarist, although I do admire his guitar playing very much.)
