Hmm. Why is it that whenever I try to do one of these sorts of things, I instantly forget everything about myself?
1. I hate both socks and shoes. I once went outside barefoot to take out the trash while the temperature was in the negatives. I didn’t notice until I got back into the house!
2. I have way too many animals. Mice, rats, dogs, ferrets, cats… I used to have hamsters and gerbils too, and took care of a litter of rabbits for a while.
3. I am slowly trying to cut unhealthy foods out of my diet.
4. I have been rushed to the ER multiple times due to fainting from anaemia and respiratory issues.
5. Despite being (technically) an adult, I still sleep surrounded by stuffed toys.
6. My brother and I both live in my mother’s basement. The upstairs-dwellers refer to our domain as “the hole.”
7. I’m severely asthmatic because I grew up surrounded by cigarette smokers. I get respiratory illnesses constantly, and battle with either pneumonia, bronchitis, or both at least once per year.
8. I’m the shortest guy I know. I’m only 153cm/5’0″.
9. I’ve dabbled with at least 10 different instruments, but have only managed to stick with 4 of them.

Some of these might be repeats…
1. I’m too lazy to see what I originally posted in this thread.
2. I am a raging extrovert.
3. I am a hugger – deal with it.
4. I love diners, drive-ins and dives. The show, too.
5. No matter where I’ve lived, I’ve always found a favorite bar and made it a point to get to know every bartender and server by name.
6. I am anal retentive when it comes to loading the dishwasher – so much so that if Zag does it, I wait until she is done, empty it and reload it.
7. My bride and I have been calling each other the same term of endearment for 33 years, after hearing it on a Bugs Bunny cartoon. And no, I will not tell you what it is.
8. I can’t stand it when my hair is a mess. It’s not vanity. I just don’t want to look stupid. When we first moved to Maine, we lived close enough to the ocean that it was always windy, either blowing in or out. I had all my hair cut off and wore a buzz cut until we moved farther inland a year later.
9. If I had my way, formal wear would consist of pressed shorts, wrinkle free tee-shirt and clean flip flops. Don’t get me started on causal Fridays.

I love how it’s all the users with really long triple-barrel names that can double like. When 2 of them like a post, it covers the entire width of the page!

Double posting it makes the title of the thread a complete lie.

4. My favourite colour is probably green. Judging by the amount of purple in my wardrobe, my second favourite colour is probably purple.
That sounds awfully similar to the clothes I have in my closet. I swear sometimes that almost half of the clothes I have are some shade of purple.
5. I’m asexual. I think.
I’ve come to the conclusion that I’m possibly asexual too. Either that or I’m what’s called a “grey asexual” which is someone who rarely experiences sexual attraction to a person. I have a feeling the latter one is more what I am since I’ve had a few crushes over the course of my teen years. I considered myself to be straight for the longest time, but in the last year or two I’ve started to question whether or not I’m really attracted to other people.

4. The older I get, the more cynical I get.4.5 If you tell me a secret, I’ll take it to the grave*, I never rat anyone out.
I can relate to both of these quite a bit. I find myself getting slightly more cynical about some things as the years go by and I definitely can keep a secret if someone tells me to. I don’t understand why some people just can’t keep their mouth shut about things that are supposed to be secret. People like that really annoy me.

8. My favorite film is Back To The Future.
It’s funny you should say that because I’d probably go with that as my second favourite movie. If you’re wondering what my #1 favourite movie is, it’s listed down below.

4. I’m not allowed to wear pants because they’re “immodest”.5. I’m also not allowed to have hair shorter than mid-back.
If you don’t mind me asking @Evangeline, why aren’t you allowed to do either of those things? Is it for religious or cultural reasons? I’m just curious as to the reason(s) why, that’s all.
Here’s 9 more random things about me:
1. I’m 5’6″ 1/2.
2. I very rarely get upset or cry about anything.
3. I’ve never flown on a plane.
4. I don’t have a driver’s licence (though I would like to eventually get one some time in the future).
5. My favourite movie of all time is The Blues Brothers (which I highly recommend you watch if you’ve never seen it).
6. I don’t consider myself to be a very religious or spiritual person (I guess I’m some combination of agnostic and/or atheist), but I will say that I’m open to the idea of there being some sort of higher power.
7. I try to be as non-judgmental and open-minded as I can about most things.
8. I don’t have any tattoos or piercings (and I’m not planning on getting any either).
9. The only sports I follow on a semi-regular basis are NFL and college football.

I don’t myself wear pants because I feel immodest in them, and I love my long hair, but I believe that modesty should be a mostly personal issue (within obvious limits, of course) and your hair should be your business (unless there’s so much of it that it’s getting into others’ business — I had that problem for a bit ).
6. I’m quite sarcastic and acerbic for no reason.
I noticed
7. I will always wear a hat,
ME TOO
8. I wear a lot of jewelry.
I wear jewelry perhaps biannually, at my mother’s insistence, to events requiring costumes. I don’t get on with jewelry.
9. I hate taking showers.
Me too

By “don’t like to take showers”, do you two mean you like to take baths instead?

Cat-like, I dislike getting wet, and my hair always takes flippin’ forever to dry.
Showers are better than baths in my opinion: they get the job done efficiently, whereas baths are just indulgent.

You may want to invest in one of these for when you take showers.
