Same.
I’ve done the focus on breathing bit. No matter how relaxed or tired I am, nothing seems to work while travelling. We once took a red eye flight from Arizona to Florida after working all day. I was in a daze during the whole trip and still couldn’t sleep. Back then, I couldn’t even fall asleep for a nap during the day. I ended up being awake for a total of 37 hours before finally crashing the next night.
To the fountain of perpetual mirth, let it roll for all its worth. And all the children boogie.

Unfortunately, I never have been able to sleep in planes, trains, buses, or cars.
I have to be really tired and pick the moment to do it. I’ve never slept in planes, they’re all rabbit hutches, you can’t get comfortable, it made international travel hell. This is often the case in trains and buses as well. I’ve wanted to sleep in trains but fear sleeping through a stop, even if it’s at least an hour and a half away.
I'm like Necko only I'm a bassist ukulele guitar synthesizer kazoo penguin and also everyone. Or is everyone me? Now I'm a confused bassist ukulele guitar synthesizer kazoo penguin everyone who is definitely not @Joe. This has been true for 2016 & 2017 
but I may have to get more specific in the future.

I’ve been travelin on a boat and a plane on a car on a bike with a bus on the train. Travelin there, travelin here, everywhere, in every gear. But oh, Lord, I got to sleep, though I can’t on the road when I’m runnin round…

Offline I used my backpack as a pillow. I closed my eyes and rested. I wonder if I dozed off at one point or another. Whatever happened I feel a bit more alive now. I’m having dinner at DFW. Next/final plane leaves in about an hour.
