What a big, bright, beautiful full moon this early morning!

I wonder if the full moon has something to do with the insomnia some of you are facing/faced last night.

My mom is a nurse. She says the patients are always more restless during a full moon.

I just got a YouTube message off someone called Emily Naomi who called me ‘Alex’ and told me to check this link to see what ‘the hot girl’ they met at the party looked like and they kindly posted a link using a URL shortener.

Seems legit!

@AppleScruffJunior, so was the girl hot then? Presumably you clicked the link since it seemed genuine.

Could be – Neil Young spends a lot of time working out which sort of moon he should record under (his album Harvest Moon was recorded during one of his favourites).

Of course, he spent many years smoking strange substances which could also have impacted his decisions.

General musing.

This whole “you’re money or you’re life?” dilemma issued, normally by highwaymen but by others as well at passing travelers on the road.

Surely if the target said “my life” the robber would shoot them and then take the loot anyway, they wouldn’t take the life and then run off leaving the money behind as otherwise whats the point of shooting them in the first place. So shouldn’t the question have been “your money or your life and the money?”? Admittedly not as snappy but accurate.

And forgive me for saying it if it offends but if the mark says “my life” then they are incredibly stupid.

Well the money is useless to a dead person so they are technically keeping their money as long as they live if they choose their money.

I get what you’re saying though and agree it is a stupid thing to say, but most people who want to shoot you for your money aren’t usually that bright anyway. And anyone who’d say they’d give their life instead is even dumber!

If I spoke prose you'd all find out, I don't know what I talk about.

But the money is going to be taken regardless – unless its a particularly caring robber with a soft side. You don’t hold up a carriage and say your money or your life wanting just to shoot them, you just shoot them.

And its not going to get to the sickly child/parent/lover/person if the person is dead anyway – unless the robber has a particularly soft side and decides to deliver it himself, but i can’t see him standing around for a chat long enough to find out the details of where the money, jewellery etc was going.

I’m already sorting out my hiding place. @Ahhh Girl has a reputation and history of being able to track things down so it needs to be a good one and therefore a lot of forward planning is required.

You’re not kidding! @Ahhh Girl is the latest reincarnation of Sherlock Holmes, Hercule Poirot, Sam Spade, Philip Marlowe, Lew Archer… It’s spooky how she finds things out about you and other people, and finds clues and solves riddles. The KGB and the CIA are nothing compared to her.

Well, as you know the etymology of “lunatic” comes from the Spanish word for “moon”…

@meanmistermustard I think Anna meant the robber had a sick loved one, which is why they were stealing the money. I think it was in response to my ‘robbers aren’t bright’ comment.
