Sorry about my harsh comment about Sgt. Pepper 's, I had had a few last night and wanted to spark some debate.
I can see why it is many people's favourite Beatles album – the way it carries an 1967 ambiance and feeling whilst still sounding futuristic is simply irresistible. And it has 'A Day In The Life ' on it; what more needs to be said?
Though it's not in my Top 5, it is a damn good album with some damn good tracks. Sorry if anyone was offended.
You all will have read that Dave Dee is no longer with us. But Mickey and Titch and I would like to carry on the good work that's always gone down in number two.

That's funny Doc. Sounds like an entry for the “You know you're a hardcore Beatles Bibler when…” thread.
You could have entered, “…you have a few drinks and type 'Anyone whose favourite Beatles album is Sgt. Pepper 's is an idiot' looking to spark a debate.”
I doubt there are any hard feelings – it's all good.
To the fountain of perpetual mirth, let it roll for all its worth. And all the children boogie.

you have to post here even while drunk. Ha ha!
OK, I see the circumstances behind this post, but there are a lot of young fans on here who probably are made fun of frequently about their love for The Beatles. They shouldn't feel self-conscious about their opinions here because of another *poster*, is all I'm trying to say.

Sgt. Pepper 's Lonely Hearts Club Band is deffinately my favourite album for the songs on it, but Rubber Soul is great for the turning point for The Beatles. With The Beatles is also a very good album. But then again so are the rest of them.
You've got power, you got to use it for the good!

What do you have against “Getting Better ,” “Within You Without You ,” “When I'm 64,” and “Lovely Rita ?”
What are your 12 “fantastic songs” on A Hard Day's Night?
If I seem to act unkind, it's only me, it's not my mind that is confusing things.

Okay, I’ll take this in 2 steps;
1. Within You Without You was Forgoten. So Seven. Don’t really like Rita or 64, but to each there own. Getting Better is Boring.
2. Everything except for Tell Me Why

Joe does as Well. I probably would take Pepper to the desert Island with Me, because it has A Day In The Life , but I prefer Consistency over Flash.
