Had to have them as part as my collection.  The Red LP was what got me hooked on The Beatles

The Red and Blue compilations were the first albums I owned by The Beatles. My Grandma also had them on vinyl. I remember my teacher playing them while I was in class at primary school.

I remember I was 14 and was on holiday. My mum always bought me a present on the last day or 2 of the holiday and I had my heart set on the Blue Album as had already heard a couple of beatle tracks and thought “hey, they’re not too bad”!!..Lovely blue vinyl too….

As soon as I got home I put it on and, well, my life sort of changed forever…..heart
