Sometimes I wonder if I should have kept the 87s for comparison. I traded them all in for stuff I didn't have, like the John Lennon Anthology and a few other things.
I do remember that I had just listened to them all and was unimpressed. Listening to the 09's it was like night and day.

I still have the 1987 CDs. I don’t listen to them anymore though. It’s been the 2009 remasters for me ever since.
