Testing to see if I can reply to this thread on my phone. I have a nice reply for Expert Textpert ready. Glad I saved it in Word!

EDIT: this worked, but I can’t reply from my computer. I’ve tried FF, Chrome, and IE. Any suggestions?

I can post to other threads on my computer, just not this one.

See this post. If Joe can’t fix it, I’ll post my response in the impossible to derail thread and put a link to here.

EDIT: I got some of my response to Expert Textpert into the next post. Yeah, can you tell I’m really, really trying to figure out how to get this information to him? I can’t get a PM to go through to him either.

I’ll go ahead and stick my Vegas travel ideas in this thread in case others go out to see LOVE and are wondering what else there is to do in Vegas besides gamble.

Expert Textpert, hopefully you won’t have a cold when you are out there. One of the vivid memories I have of Vegas is wonderful smell of flowers in the Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. Looks like the theme for while you will be there is Summer Garden Party. I was there for Autumn Harvest.

let’s see…I got part of the post to work. lets see if this part gets added.

Let’s see if I can get this to work from work. IT WORKED! IT WORKED!

Part deux for Expert Textpert:

Just going into each casino and seeing how they have it laid out and decorated (inside and out) with their theme was fascinating to me:

Luxor (and look for the light coming out of the top of it at night)
Excalibur (I’m a sucker for themed door handles. They have good ones. Many of the other places do too.)
I wish I could go back to the Paris casino/hotel now that I’ve actually been to Paris. Looking at my pictures, I realize that it would mean more to me now. I’ll go ahead and stick this back in here too: Go to the top of the Eiffel Tower and watch the Bellagio water show from up there at night.
New York (We saw Lord of the Dance there. It looks like that show has moved to Planet Hollywood.)
Definitely stroll around the Venetian and take that gondola ride.
Caesars Palace – glad I looked back at these pictures since I am getting ready to head to Rome as part of an upcoming trip in May. Don’t miss the statues in the Forum Shops area. When we were there, they had recordings that played as though each statue were talking. It seems they have made it into a bigger production with lights and stuff.
Mirage (watch the volcano erupt)
Stratosphere (incredible views from the top)

The light show at night on Freemont Street is spectacular.

Aladdin and Desert Passage shops were awesome (our favorite actually), but it looks like they have now become an LA-themed place.

We enjoyed M&Ms World and the Coke store.

We ate one meal at Hard Rock Cafe. But, at that time, I didn’t know who the Beatles were, so I didn’t look for any Beatles memorabilia.

Watch for wedding couples. Lots of white-gowned ladies and tuxed-men.

We walked the entire strip during the daytime at nighttime. What a big difference! …and our feet were singing “Daytime Nighttime Suffering”.

I can’t wait to hear about your experience, Expert Textpert!

I just saw this. The blue-meanieblue-meanieblue-meanie are having some kind of mischievous fun linking our accounts, mmm. It did make me laugh out loud. The problem is is that I’m at the reference desk where I’m the one who is supposed to keep things quiet. I jumped over here to check BB because I’m waiting for Excel to respond. Distracted? Yes, I am. Now back to work.

Great! Those all look like good suggestions.  We are always up for botanical gardens, water and light shows, and incredible views!  This will give us some good ideas.

Oh, yes, I remember seeing LOVE a few summers ago. Since we live in Salt Lake (and yes, we went to Paul’s concert in 2010, as well as Ringo’s in 2012), we drive whenever we go to Disneyland, with a lunch break in St. George. We spend the night in Las Vegas at one of my dad’s friends’ house, then continue on to Anaheim. So one year (I think it was 2011) we went to Disneyland, and on the way back we went to LOVE. It was a great show — we had bought the soundtrack for my brother’s 13th birthday, but there were some numbers and transitions that weren’t on the soundtrack, which was pretty cool.

If I seem to act unkind, it's only me, it's not my mind that is confusing things.

Two comments on the past three posts.

First: Lucky Expert Textpert! Hope you enjoy it, and tell us all about it!

Second: MeanMrsMustard was here on January 21 of this year and didn’t say anything except that she saw Love?

Compared to other Cirque du Soleil shows, the acrobatics here may not be quite as spectacular. But if you’re a Beatle fan, you just bask in the music played LOUD, and it’s great.

I’m not too sure how much money I’d be willing to pay just to listen to loud Beatles music, though… I’ve heard before that the acrobs didn’t live up to expectations.
