How would the albums be different if each member of the Beatles had the same amount of album space?

Well, they'd be pretty damned short, considering that it took Ringo forever to write two full songs!

Maybe you can just count the lead vocal, instead of writer considering Ringo's shortcoming there.

Not as good, I imagine. We'd have just a few songs of each Beatle, and a big difference in quality between J&P and G&R, or for the first few years anyway.
It's just fine as it is.

Hard to accommodate since it was 14 tracks per LP at the beginning and 4 into 14 don't go - unless George and Ringo have to share.

I would think that since John and Paul share writing credit that they would share a song or two

Yeah, they could do. Further down the road when their ego's get in the way tho They weren't too happy giving George more room.

But Ringo doesn't even play in Cry For A Shadow, so I think to make it fair you need to add With A Little Help From My Friends , but acapella-style, with just Ringo singing to make up for his absence on Cry For A Shadow.

It is an interesting thought. Made hard by the fact that they had fourteen track albums for the most part so I would imagine that they would have three songs each and two songs that either John and Paul share the vocals, all four could sing on one song, or they could have instrumentals.
And in the end the lunch you take is equal to the lunch you bake.
