Known as From Then to You in the UK, and The Christmas Album in the US, it collected together their Christmas fan club messages between 1963 and 1969, and was given away free to members of the UK and US fan club in 1970.

also, their song, Christmastime (is here again) was released 3 times…

-(1) early 1970s, when all 7 messages were compiled into one album

-(2) mid- 90s, when the Free As A Bird single came out,

-(3) 2017, when the major christmas album was released then went out of print

The only official release of Christmas Time (Is Here Again), the song, was on the Free As A Bird  single.

On the original 1967 Christmas Time (Is Here Again) fan-club flexi small sections were used throughout but not the full song, and the 1970 UK and US albums featured the fan-club flexi, not the song, and the 2017 release was as a box-set of the seven fan-club flexis on seven 7″ coloured vinyl singles, not as an album.

And even the Free As A Bird  release was an edit, more than halving its length, and ending with a couple of bits flown in from earlier recordings.

The full-length (6:07) Christmas Time (Is Here Again) song has never been officially released.

There is also a version of the song recorded by Ringo on his 1999 I Wanna Be Santa Claus album.

Ringo’s version was more modern than the original. i got the original, somehow (I don’t know how) and I loved the british humor in it.

What about the Crimble Medley? I Don’t know which version is the better one. the Anthology outtakes vol. 1 version, which includes the spoken introductions, or is the better one the recording of just the Crimble Medley, not the saturday club introductions.

From 1968 to 1969 the beatles recorded their contributions separately. Christmastime (Is here Again) was the final Beatles christmas message to be recorded all at once.

Judging by certain rumors [i don’t know if they are true] but I think Pantomime should have been the final, because it was such a big production. But God had it chronologically different, so I guess we will have to imagine it in a different Alternate universe.

I am not right, I am right.
