When it comes to Beatle collecting we like to have everything on the shelf and hense buying everything by each former beatle also.
For one, I have never really been interested in buying anything from itunes. Now we have this gap on our shelves where anthology albums may never be
“This new remaster of each two-disc set is actually going to be an iTunes exclusive
EMI has already confirmed that this remaster will not be available physically”
Do you think they will ever reissue these physically? or has technology already started to slum on creating cds

OK… That is a wery good argument (so good argument it needs a w). Those who make bootlegs (screw you!!!!), I hope you REALLY make a physical copy of Anthology Remastered.
It would be shame (in my opinion), and that would be ironic. They couldn't buy your records at HOME!!!! You'd went to a god damn record shop and buy that record, not turn the PC (AT HOME!!!!) and download it.
Bootleggers… I BEG YOU!!!!

McLennonSon, I never thought Apple were bootleggers. But The Walrus is right. I have used original copies. Nothing could be done more. EMI is milking a cow for all it’s got. Don’t buy the ITunes release, they’re just a cash grab.

I'm not sure how much value there would be in a re-master on itunes. I have heard that the compressed nature of the sound coming off itunes pretty much obfuscates the re-mastered quality. This gets further deteriorated when put on an ipod.
So buying remastered music off itunes and then putting it on an ipod is counterproductive.
The best sound of remastered Beatles is going to be CD's into your headphones or off a USB stick which I'm told is amazing.
Anyway that's my understanding. So I intend to skip any remastered marterial off itunes.

But by bootlegging, I meant that the bootleggers (not Apple) would do a physical copy of the re-mastered Anthology album.

Yep, agree with everyone, originals are just fine. They dated from the mid-'90s and didn't need remastering like the '87 CDs did.
And any ways, there was no “real” remastering done in 1987 – just straight copies.

This may surprise some people but the iTunes releases of Anthology aren't remastered.
And as a sidenote I hope they also put Live At The BBC on iTunes with the 3 songs from the Baby It's You EP as bonus tracks, which they should have done with the Free As A Bird and Real Love singles.
